I had lost my mother to cancer just a couple months ago. Just as we were managing processing the grief of it all, her husband and my dad just had to fuck it all up with a single decision. I hate it all so so much. I hate him.

It's been about approximately half a year since my brothers and I lost our mom to the vile dragon that is cancer. For several long months she battled it hoping she can come back home to us. But unfortunately we don't get to that. Since then it's been a slow, tiring process recovering from such a fact. But then my dad, who's been more than affected by her passing, decided to fuck it all up in a single decision.

I had been in contact with my dad's boss for a while now. Occasionally he says hi and checks up on me so I thought it was another one of those times. He did his usual thing asking how I was but then he asked me if I my dad had been bringing women over. Turns out he was! Specifically a s3x worker and paying her for upwards of 2,000 across multiple nights. Poorly hiding it from us to the point he just had her cooking stuff in the kitchen.

He promised us multiple times to me and my brother's faces that she wasn't going to be replaced. She had specifically saved quite a lot of money for us in the event of her leaving us. And for all we know my dad could've been pulling money out of that for that woman. My mom would've been disgusted.

I had to step in with my dad's boss along with my grandma to get him to stop this shit. And you wanna know what he does? Even after promising nothing like this is gonna happen and that he's going to rehab? He had the nerve to have someone else over last night, no shame. Not at all. I am so fucking tired. And he wonders why I'm going into therapy! Precisely because of his nonsense!

Bought a new ASUS Strix G18 laptop and my remote play isn't working.

I've restarted, updated my drivers. etc etc but it doesn't work for some reason? Yet whenever i use my controller for say steam games it works perfectly fine.

[US, US] [H] Shining Legends Secret Rare Mewtwo. 78/73. Lightly played with. [W] PayPal.

Admittedly this is is quite literally my first time going through this. I know how valuable this is, often going for roughly 300-700 going by eBay and TCGplayer. Open to any and all deals as I don't really have an attachment to this card at all really.

again I got these prices from eBay but I'm mostly leaving on the average with TCGplayer saying 700+

It got her. That damned beast got her.

I’m only 22. And I just lost my mom to cancer only yesterday. Me and my two brothers weren’t ready for any of this, for us to say goodbye to her one last time.

She’s been battling this dragon for months now, with the rest of my family having to try and survive without her. Her birthday was back in January, the start of the new year, and I made sure to send a message fully believing she can beat this thing. Other and friends were there. But my dad wasn’t. Not because he didn’t want to, but because he had a seizure in the hospital partly due to the constant twelve packs of beer he gets twice a day every day since this started. He wasn’t able to offer a proper goodbye.

I and my brothers wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for her. Currently we’re just going through the process as a lot of folks are doing prayers since we’re involved in Buddhism. I’ve only had a limited experience with cancer. I had been finding comfort talking to my dear friends online but I feel so hollow still.
