Will the buses be running tomorrow?

I have work on campus but not sure if i can reach if the bus doesn't run.

There's no way I can walk all the way. I wonder if they'd expect attendance on campus for in-person work regardless of transit?

I love that Mahid is the Mufti-e-Sheher now. 🔥😍 And that he has been able to keep Patricidal Phupi under control, or at least prevent her from destroying him totally. It was good to see Haider tell his mother that she hasn't been able to shake Mahid. That's my Man! 🙅‍♀️❤️🥹

Given how traumatized and heartbroken Mahid is after Seher's accusation, and with Seher leaving him presumably forever, I'm so so glad to see that at least he has the Mufti position which rightfully belongs to him.

I was worried that after the leap, Mahid will roam the streets as Devdas and Haider will be Mufti, but that didn't happen thankfully.

Another thing is the light and dark colour combinations that MaHer are wearing. It's like even after 7 years, they've got their weekly outfit chart that they follow, to colour co-ordinate with each other. 🤭

Keeping that in mind, let's leave the past, avoid comparisons, and enjoy the angst and beautiful story that's being served now!! 💃✨️💯

I felt so bad for her, she's literally made up a whole storyline in her head about Mahid aage badh gaye, nikaah karliya unhone, nikaah kiya hai toh baccha bhi lazmi hai, and that he's moved on from her as they've been separated for 7 years 😭😭😂😂😂😂

I bet she's made up images in her head of everything lol. The way she stopped Mahid from saying anything, kuch batane ki zarurat nahi hai, like she didn't want to hear him say he was married again, or that Insha is his wife or something. She couldn't bear to hear him saying anything like that, poor girl 😅

She has even accepted that she is his "pehli begum", and that he has a happy family and kid with another woman who is his "doosri begum" 🥹😭😅

I'm sure she'll dance in joy when she gets to know the truth, but tabtak thoda sa tadpo koi naa, mujhe maza aarha hai Seher ka yearning and longing avatar dekh kar 😈😈😈

Also, she easily jumps into declarations and conclusions like he's not loyal to her or loves her enough, Nazima as his bachpan ka pyaar, him having a kid, what not. 😅😅 When in reality he's genuinely faithful to her.

Mahid is actually the kind of man who'll always be faithful to his wife. He's quite old school and traditional in things related to emotions and relationships, "marriage is for keeps" kinda man. It's not possible to imagine him even thinking of someone else other than who he married.

I can understand why Seher feels this way as he always put a distance between them previously, plus the talaqs, but let's see how they develop the MaHer relationship now. There's lots of character development that both of them will go through 🔥🥹💯

It's all very well to institute measures to prevent or punish plagiarism in the age of AI. That's all great. Those measures can and will be implemented.

But do departments, faculties and the university as a whole think about how they can continue to keep education in their specific subjects relevant in the age of AI?

Are they thinking of measures to help students keep up with the transformation that's going on?

To help students adapt and upskill/reskill? Enabling students to build resilience to being made obsolete? How can students deal with the job market impacts of AI that we're seeing?

I think academia and academic policy makers and administrators, with all their collective expertise, knowledge, and abilities, should come together to rethink education, so that it serves students in this age of AI. Can there be initiatives by the University that bring together academia and industry, so that students are well-prepared for surviving in this job market?

This should be a community-wide, collective conversation and effort. I wonder whether there's anything to this effect happening anywhere?

It's quite close to Srinagar, and has one of the most beautiful scenery 😍😍

It's difficult shooting in that area too. Now I'm excited to see what they have in store for the post leap initial sequences.

As an aside, Pahalgam also had the attack last year, so security and logistics wise, things should be handled even more carefully. Kudos to all the efforts taken by the whole team!! 👏👍🔥 May they get all the success for their hard work 💯🤞✨️

I understand that my post below was removed. But I'd like to know what exactly was the spoiler here?? When I asked this many times, there was no answer from the Mod as to what exactly the spoiler was. The girls going to Malihabad to find Kausar was already spelt out clearly and openly by Seher in Monday's episode, and was also pointed out by Mahid by the end of Monday's episode, which has already aired on TV.

I don't think there's anything in my post below (made on Tuesday) that's a spoiler. Everything was already out in Monday's episode, that had already aired on TV. Decisions are imposed and posts are removed, despite no rule being broken. All because one of the MODS wants to be high handed, impose things, and silence some people specifically, when the sub doesn’t have much engagement in the first place anyway.

Questions on ModMail are also not answered. It's as if there's no recourse and no place to get things clarified if one of the Mods does something that's arbitrary.

Seher and Amaal are completely stupid. Sorry for the language, but with the situation they are currently in, they should be grateful for having Fareed and Mahid with them, and should close their eyes and take their help.

Even if she manages to find the truth in Malihabad, does Seher really think she'll be able to find her Ammi all by herself, dealing with a gunda and the whole mad mashra?

Okay her Ammi is missing, but a person's character shines only during the toughest challenges in life. When it's time to really display strength of character now, Seher is unfortunately on a path of self-sabotage. Saath hi apne aas paas ke sab ko duba lejayegi, including Amaal and Mahid.

Hugely disappointed in Seher. Even more disappointed that she hasn't yet said one single word of condolence on the death of Mahid's Dada Huzoor.

Okay MaHer is what viewers are here for, but it's a little lazy on the part of the writing team to have the same kind of scenes again and again. Isse acha they could've had Seher ask Mahid one word about Dada Huzoor to give her condolence on his death.

Also, why can't they bring the damn leap on and then show romance as much as they want??? At this point, they're just rage baiting the viewers.

I love the Mufti politics and the fact that Mahid is caught between taking up his responsibilities towards the community as Mufti and continuing the legacy of his Dada Huzoor versus supporting Seher and being there for her.

These two things have become conflicting priorities for him. He's also now realizing that people are back stabbing him and that his life and career are all on doldrums. Upar se ye paison ko paani ki tarah bahaa rha hai aajkal... ki kahi kangaal naa hojaye if/when Patricidal Phupi takes over Niyazi Manzil and beghar-fies Mahid 😱

But the Mufti politics and power play is what I always wanted to see. That's cool!

I hope they don't cancel the ulema/religious priest folks coming in and the fateha padhne wale scenes tomorrow. The deliberation on who will be Mufti is much-awaited, though it's a shame that Mahid, who was the uncrowned prince and well-respected successor of Mufti Usman Niyazi, is now being sidelined because of his support for women's education and freedom. That conflict makes for a worthwhile watch!

But still these episodes seem like fillers... they need to speed up! It's obvious that they've extended the pre-leap track for whatever reason but they need to go ahead now. 🙅‍♀️😄

It was hard for me to watch her do the whole act of patricide - right from the way she was sitting on the bed and narrating what was on her mind, to how she suffocated her father to death - those eyes, that face and that look, damn. It was really hard to watch.

What if Dada Huzoor decides that he'll banish Mahid from Niyazi Manzil for his progressive thoughts and his support for women?

So assume Mahid gets exiled...

Then bechara kaise roti paani afford karega?? Paise honge uske paas jo madrasa work yaa religious work se related naa ho?

Then will he have to rely on Seher's education and her street smartness that helps him also make a living in the world?

After the leap, it'll be great to see a track like this where Mahid tries to make a living as a modern person, coming out of his deen ki duniya.
