Chemo cream for actinic keratosis

I’m about to begin a chemo cream treatment for a small spot on my face that my derm thinks is actinic keratosis. The tube says to apply twice a day for 5 days. I’m trying to time this treatment so I don’t look terrible in early September. I’m in a very visible role at work which picks up starting early September. I’m thinking of starting the cream tomorrow. Does it turn raw pretty quickly or will it only get raw after day 5? Also, in my research I keep seeing people who say they did it for 10 days. Is 5 not the standard?

They also gave me another cream, I think it’s a hydrocortisone cream. Should I be applying that before or over the chemo cream?

Thanks for any tips!

Exercises?

Has anyone consistently done myofunctional therapy, or oropharyngeal exercises? Those are basically mouth and tongue workouts. If so, did you see an improvement? It says it can help with OSA, not fully solve it for moderate and severe cases, but can help if done for 20-30 minutes a day. I’m just wondering if anyone has tried it and how long it took to see an improvement? I put in calendar reminders for myself everyday for 3 months to see what happens… I sometimes have airway blocking issues during the day too.

Shaboomies

I’m considering a trip to north Myrtle next week, but, do they still not allow shaboomie type shades on the beach? It’s been a few years since I’ve been there.

Considering new device

I got my kindle paperwhite in January of 2020. It still works almost as well as the day I got it. But I have always felt like it’s slow to respond. For example, if I am trying to unmark my bookmarked page. Or when I try to swipe down to the options like text size or brightness. But otherwise it is fine. Are the newer models faster/smoother? Debating if it is worth upgrading sometime soon.

Excellence El Carmen question

I just booked a honeymoon swim out beach front room. But, I was wondering if people are allowed to smoke outside of these? If so, I think I might change to Mexico. I booked this because Punta cana will be warmer in the winter. However, smelling smoke is a deal breaker. thanks for any info!

I am using the airfit n30i with a nasal cushion. I have silk liners on my mask I tried to loosen the headgear but then I get leaks. I am having these lines on my face from the mask, so I cant really use it when I have to go places the next day, which is like 95% of the time. My dr. told me I should use a mask with a head hose since I am a side sleeper and I sleep with a dog up against me most nights. My dermatologist recommended I find something that wont touch so much of my skin since it is causing issues and the silk wrap is not fully helping. Is there another mask I should consider? Or something else I should use to wrap around the mask? I saw there is a nasal cpap without headgear but I am worried the hose in front will choke me when I turn around.

Thanks for any recommendations or ideas!!
