Exhaust voiding Honda warranty? Please help!

I have a 2026 cbr650r I bought brand new 2 months ago.

I put a cs racing full system exhaust on it at 1600 miles. Bike is not tuned but still has the o2 sensor plugged into new exhaust

Went for a ride at 2200 miles, the bike started to spit coolant out of the overflow tube until it appeared to be completely drained, bike got up to 260 degrees while this was happening since I couldn’t immediately pull over when I noticed the overheating icon pop up due to heavy traffic.

I’m assuming there is engine damage since it got up to 260 degrees.

I’m wondering if I’m going to have issues with Honda covering this under warranty since I have a full system exhaust? Could the exhaust have even caused this?

Looking for some guidance on this and also would like to hear anyone’s experiences with similar situations.

Riders Wanted

Me and a friend are looking for some consistent people to ride with. We’re 29m and 30m and have a zx6r and cbr650r.

We are usually out whenever it is nice, weekdays, weekends, etc. Usually stay somewhat local to Chicago burbs/downtown during the week, and then longer rides on the weekend, think lake Geneva, galena, Milwaukee, etc.

Not sure why it is but everyone we run into that “rides motorcycles” only rides to bike meets, Chicago United rides, or riding to parking lots to pose for photos/videos for their instagram. Not trying to hate on people who do this, but it’s not our style of riding.

We just wanna meet some people who actually wanna ride for more than 20 minutes at a time, maybe to some cool spots w a view or to get food or grab a beer, hit backroads, etc.

Would love to meetup with some track riders as that is more of our style of riding. We have more fun hitting twisty roads fast as opposed to hitting top speed of our bikes on the highway while doing wheelies. We’re both interested in getting cheap bikes for the track next season in addition to keeping our street bikes too so would love to connect with likeminded people.

My friend smokes weed, I don’t, but we’re 420 friendly if u do.

We lane filter all the time at red lights, and occasionally lane split at lower speeds if it’s bumper to bumper on the highway.

We’re both located in the nw burbs

Feel free to dm me to meet up!

Disappointed in hardware, need help! 2026 cbr650r

I have a 2026 cbr650r and yesterday I put on frame sliders, full exhaust, and tail tidy. When I was removing the fairings, I completely stripped 1 Allen screw and partially stripped a couple others. I searched this subreddit and saw some others have run into this issue as well.

Pretty disappointed because my 2025 r3 had much higher quality Allen screws that didn’t strip.

I had to drill thru the completely stripped screw and now the threaded insert behind the fairing is unusable. Anyone have an idea how to fix this so I can put a new screw in?

Also has anyone replaced all the Allen screws with aftermarket? Looking for a complete kit so I don’t need to search for each screw size/length/thread.

This is my first Honda vehicle, and I really like my cbr, but these fasteners put a bad taste in my mouth.

Thanks in advance!
