Adblock help

So I just installed Luci’s Adblock. I’m curious what list do you guys use by default that’s provided with the Adblock app that blocks 90% of ads and blocks malware and phishing domains and stuff. Lmk. I wanna further secure my network and not have ads lol. Or at least as little as possible

Progressive refusing to take my money

Hi new to here and new to progressive. I started a new policy recently after getting rid of snap shot. And then all of a sudden after I start the new policy progressive can’t take any money from my checking account. I contact finance department of progressive and they basically said passive aggressively I should rebalance my check book or check with my bank and that the only reason progressive couldn’t take my money was because the bank blocked it or basically I have no money. So I go to my bank they check everything out, and say my checking is fine and I have $1k in my checking and they told me to check back with progressive and progressive said just submit payment manually. I did, finally the first month money gets take out of my account. However progressive said 2 days later “sorry payment failed” and now the money is in limbo being refunded apparently. I’ve called progressive again twice and was hung up on twice after waiting 2 hours for 1 call and an hour for the second call. This is the worst insurance company ever and they are starting to shut down my account.

I tried switching to debit on the app but it said to call them so I tried and am still on hold as of writing. Can someone tell me remedies to this ? This is complete bs

Need opinions on my money management

Hey! Gonna get into it but I’m 26.

I currently make $1,141.89 bi weekly

I’ve recently started a Roth IRA. And started a general savings HYSA account, and have had a house savings HYSA for a while but due to unexpected expenses money was depleted out of it hence the small number.
$525 bi weekly into my house savings account (6,000 as of now in it)
$50 a month into my Roth IRA (total of $315 into my Roth IRA)
$150 into my general savings HYSA account at 3.9% (total $500 as of now)
Rest into my checking account ($600 in my checking as of now)

I’m curious if there are improvements I can do? Or is this the best?

My money in the Roth goes towards S&P 500 and international index funds as recommended by 10 finance channels I’ve been learning from.

Battery gets drained to nothing

Truck: 2017 Nissan frontier SV Crew cab.
Hi I’ve been having this issue for a bit. Recently 2 months ago I changed the alternator as the old one went bad to a newer 130 AMP alternator. Then replaced the battery with some name brand I can’t remember. Truck starts up like a new truck every morning however whenever I charge my phone with ignition on or turn on hazards for 20 minutes the battery drains to a weak state where the screen turns on but not enough to power the entire truck on. What do you guys think it is? Faulty battery? Faulty alternator ? Battery wires or wires in general at fault? Truck starts up fine every morning.

Both packages lost

Both sellers have shipped my packages with UPS or USPS. Both got lost. 1 lost in transit; Mercari states I have to wait 11 days before they can start the buyers protection process , I’ve contacted the carrier and they claim the package is uninsured and I should deal with the seller directly this sucks. Second package was delivered yesterday by UPS. Package wasn’t found anywhere. I checked with tenants and neighbors. No one saw an ups truck or mail truck and they said they never received a package by mistake etc. I contact UPS they tell me view the delivery photo, the delivery photo doesn’t exist, they ask me to open a claim. Package isn’t insured so they deny my claim. I contact Mercari directly, Mercari claimed they are contacting UPS.
This is the worst experience I’ve had. I’m going back to eBay after this is all sorted.

Malware scare new malware discovered searching for video game graphics pack

(This post was removed from r/malware for unstated reasons so I’ll post it here I hope the mods here are not corrupt)

I am a paranoid pc person. So I always upload files I download to virus total for a review. I also have my windows login set as a standard user and admin user as separate. So I downloaded yesterday morning a fivem graphics back zip file. I uploaded it to virus total and it got a 10/65 malware score. I then waited an hour for the virtual machine testing by virus total to conclude and the results speak for themselves. Thought it be a cool mention here. I also fully offline and online scanned my desktop with windows defender after. Nothing so far. I check for unusual stuff, and nothing so far, so I maybe in the clear.
Here’s the virustotal link: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/db8095407747ba4f46828e935387672ed65a0f29174234bfbdc03a9e28fec8c7/detection

I hope by uploading this to virus total it helps out security vendors and researchers strengthen anti malware detections. I also reported the associated domain to namecheap inc however I don’t think they’ll do anything.

Jaws the Revenge Old Ending

I remember there was an old ending where it shows the full scene to the credits. Where lady rams the broken part of the boat into the shark’s gills and it groans before a part of the boat falls off with the shark , and then after everyone who thought was dead including Jake shows back up it shows the shark sunk at the bottom of the sea with the broken part of the boat stabbed in its gill , with credits rolling. I remember this ending extremely well. This was when I saw this jaws movie on tv in 2008. But every copy I find shows the shark blowing up after being stabbed by the broken part of the boat which is weird. Does anyone else remember this ending I described? If so what do you think happened with it that made the current crap ending better?
