Single gal going to Venice, Florence, San Vincenzo, Rome, and Sorrento

Hi everyone ✌️ I’ll be visiting Italy for the first time in early June and would love advice from those who know it well.

A little about me: I’m a 34-year-old solo female traveler for part of the trip (meeting up with family for most of it). I love hidden gems, creative experiences, local culture, great food, people watching, indie music, art, quirky neighborhoods, wine, and places that feel authentic rather than overly touristy.

Current itinerary:
• Venice (2 nights)
• San Vincenzo, Tuscany coast (5 nights)
• Rome (1 night)
• Sorrento (4 nights)

A few specific questions:

Venice….if you only had 2 days, what would you prioritize? Is a mask-making workshop worth it? Any favorite boat tours, islands, bars, neighborhoods, or lesser-known experiences?

Florence…..I’ll have about 4 to 5 hours in Florence between trains. Looking for one memorable lunch and/or wine spot. Where would you go?

San Vincenzo / Tuscany Coast….I’ll have a rental car available. If you could recommend ONE great day trip from San Vincenzo, what would it be? Hill towns, wineries, coastal villages, hidden gems, anything.

Rome….if I only have limited time, would you choose: 1. Vatican Museums/St. Peter’s
2. Vespa tour (what I’m mostly considering right now) or 3. Something else entirely?

Sorrento….for a day trip, would you choose Capri or the Amalfi Coast and why? I’m looking for beautiful scenery, good food, wandering, and memorable experiences.

Also, if there’s one thing in any of these destinations that tourists often miss but absolutely shouldn’t, I’d love to hear it.

Thanks Reddit Fam!
