Does anybody have experience with the ZZZ-airsoft Infinite kit?

I have a AAP-01 with mostly internal upgrades and this would seems fun as a sleek/sleeper build. It was originally intended as a sidearm but I swapped it out for a Mk23 as it suits my playstyle better, but the AAP would be fun to turn it into a CQB powerhouse on HPA. I already have a HPA kit with Storm Cat5 reg.

How easy is the install? The stock lower requires some cutting for which they provide a template. Given its polymer it shouldn't be that difficult?

What would be general recommendations for lightweight BBU and therefore best nozzle/recoil spring? I funny enough find that the stock bolt gives a bit too much recoil for accurate follow up shots. I understand its the nature of GBB, but I would like it to be as accurate as posibble.

The cool part about the inifnite kit is that it retains the bolt lock on empty, and given I'm not that into speedsofting, only gives me 30 bbs/mag but I can always quickly top up with a speedloader on my person.

To LAM or not to LAM

LAM vs TLR-1 clone.

Obviously the TLR is brighter, but on the LAM i actually reach the light switch with one hand if i have to.

Also, to my surprise, an Acetech Brighter R fits almost perfect in the stock suppressor. Just needs a little bit of tape shimming.

MK23 as assault?

How useable would a MK23 as an assault player?

I’m a player who prefers sneaking around and flanking instead of head on fights, because usually that just ends with me either getting shot by a DMR or a bolt action.

So I started looking at MK23s as a sidearm for more silent takedowns. But is the mk23 more a snipers friend or gimmick, or would it also be useable as an assault player?

I an aware its NBB, the lack of moving slide doesn’t bother me. For real CQB i still rather use my M4 or try and be smart about it. I have seen the different models (ASG, STTi, TM and SSX23), but haven’t looked into availability yet

Broken fill valve

So, while playing today my AAP-01 magazine's fill valve... snapped? How often does this normally happen? I'm a bit new to GBB pistols

For context. It was leaking a lot from the fill valve, relatively new mag. Took it out, checked it, cleaned it, lubed the o-ring and while putting it back in it just snapped when it started threading in... Managed to get it out with some needlenose pliers (yay, old reddit posts for info!) and ordered some original spares from a local store

TTI lightweight magazine VS stock AA magazines

Hi all,

I received a voucher for an airsoft shop and while I don't need much, they do have TTI lightweight magazines in stock, the 26rnd ones. I was wondering if there are any up to date experiences with these mags and if they offer any substantial advantages compared to the stock magazines?

I have 3 stock magazines at the moment and I suppose I would be looking at replacing the 3 of them for lightweight mags.

Thanks in advance for your time!

There are many out there. This one is mine:

This is the configuration I am gonna settle with for a while. Parts for this interested:

  • TTI hammer set
  • TTI adjustable trigger
  • Maple leaf Crazy jet for AAP01
  • Nexxspeed hop unit with concave nub
  • Flamingo 50
    • Max BB weight allowed 0.30 @ 1.2J.
    • Shoots about 0.9-1.0J.
  • Nexxspeed reaper charging handle
  • AA RMR plate for AAP01
  • Tridos Design adapter for universal holster
  • Specna Red Dot (Aero V2)
  • WADSN surefire clone

Otherwise stock bolt, stock springs running AAP-01 mags. Will get some TTI mags for reduced weight whenever they come in stock again.

I do actually have the TTI scorpion 4" upper, but i prefer the stock upper. The TDC would come out on me and mess with the hop, though the Nexxspeed unit does fit, the adjustment is very hard to get to due to the smaller ejection window. Also stripped multiple screws on the front sight and on the lower picatinny rail and needed to replace them. Might keep it, might sell it as used.

Favourite RS handguards!

Hi all.

I was wondering what peoples favourite RS spec handguards are!

I use a MTW (due to space contraints my only main replica) and was thinking about treating myself for Christmas time. I wanted to cerakote the upper, lower and handguard into a Chaos Bronze like colour while having the mag release and all that still black. But was wondering what other hanguards would maybe be nice? Would be open to Quad rail like a DD or M-lok.

the chaos bronze pic is AI edited, to get an idea of what it would look like, minus the mag release and stuff staying black. It's an older picture, I sold the LVPO and currently use a Vortex reddot on a clone unity mount and got rid of the optic protector. obviously the mounts will stay black

Tactical headset and Vortex Triump red dot

Hi all!

I was wondering if someone could tell me if they have problems when using a tactical headset with or without a mic and aiming. Does the mic/headset get in the way? I am looking at Earmor/Compac/Peltor headsets (Howard Leigh is not easily available, im EU based)

I recently bought a Vortex Triumph and currently use their 1/3 cowitness mount. Wondering if this might maybe be too low? I tried fitting the reddot to a T1/T2 mount clone riser, but it leaves a gap between the sight and riser cus the top of the riser is too deep. Would getting a Unity/Unity clone (say, WADSN) fit better, if i would need to raise it?

(prefer a nice riser over using a picatinny riser, but could use that as a backup plan)
