What's the best cold press juicer if you actually use it every week?

I've been thinking about getting a cold press juicer because I'm tired of buying expensive bottled juices that disappear in two days. I figured it'd probably pay for itself eventually if I actually stick with it.

The only thing holding me back is that everyone seems to recommend something different. Some people say certain juicers get way more juice out of vegetables, others say they're a nightmare to clean and end up sitting in the cupboard after a month.

I'd mostly be making juices with apples, carrots, oranges, spinach, celery, and whatever fruit happens to be on sale that week. Easy cleanup is a big deal because I know I'll stop using it if it takes 20 minutes to wash.

For those who own a cold press juicer, what did you end up buying? Are you still using it regularly, or do you wish you'd gone with something else?

What are the best CrossFit shoes if you train 4-5 days a week?

I’ve been using regular running shoes for CrossFit, and I’m starting to think that might be part of the problem. They feel fine for short runs, but once there’s lifting, box jumps, burpees, rope climbs, or anything side-to-side, they start feeling way too soft and unstable.

I’m not competing or anything, just trying to train consistently without my feet feeling beat up. I’d like something stable enough for lifting, comfortable enough for metcons, and not completely awful if there’s a short run in the workout.

Every pair I look at has mixed reviews. Some people swear by them, some say they’re too narrow, too stiff, or fall apart after a few months.

If you were buying CrossFit shoes today with your own money, what would you get? I’d especially like to hear from people who’ve used the same pair for a while, not just first impressions.

What's the best mesh WiFi system for a house with annoying dead spots?

I'm at the point where I'm tired of walking into certain rooms and watching my WiFi disappear. The router is fine if I'm nearby, but once I head upstairs or to the other side of the house, everything slows down.

A few friends have suggested getting a mesh WiFi system, but there are so many choices that I have no idea what's actually worth buying. My internet speed is decent already, so I'm mostly trying to get reliable coverage everywhere instead of chasing higher speeds.

For those of you who switched to a mesh WiFi system, which one did you go with? Did it fix the dead spots, and is there anything you'd do differently if you were buying one today?

What are the best cooking tools for beginners that are actually worth buying?

I've been cooking more at home lately, and I've realized my kitchen is missing a lot of the basics. I don't want to fill my cabinets with gadgets I'll use once and forget about, so I'm trying to figure out what tools are genuinely useful when you're just starting out.

Right now I have the essentials, but beyond that I'm not sure what's actually worth spending money on. I've seen people recommend everything from cast iron pans and chef's knives to food processors, digital thermometers, and air fryers, but it's hard to tell what's a must-have and what's just nice to have.

If you were setting up a kitchen from scratch today, what would be the first cooking tools you'd buy? Which ones made cooking easier or helped you improve the fastest?

I'm more interested in buying a few quality tools that I'll use for years than a drawer full of gimmicks.

Best museums in Tokyo? Trying to build a good mix

I’m planning part of my Tokyo trip and realized there are way more museums than I expected. At first I thought I’d just do one or two famous ones, but now I’m seeing everything from art museums and digital exhibits to history, science, architecture, anime, and super niche collections.

I’m not trying to spend the entire trip indoors, but I do want a few museum stops that are actually memorable and not just “walk around reading signs for 2 hours.”

Right now I’m open to pretty much anything as long as it’s worth the time. Interactive stuff, beautiful buildings, unique collections, hidden gems, whatever.

If you’ve been to Tokyo, which museums surprised you the most? Which ones are must-visits and which popular ones would you skip if you only had a few days?

How do you activate an eSIM on iPhone? Am I overthinking this?

I’m switching to eSIM on my iPhone for the first time and somehow something that sounds simple is making me nervous to mess up.

From what I understand, you buy the plan, scan a QR code (or install through an app), go into Settings, and activate it… but I keep seeing people talk about data lines, turning roaming on, labeling plans, and timing activation so now I feel like I’m missing something.

I’m mainly asking for travel use, so ideally I want to land somewhere and already have data working instead of dealing with setup at the airport.

For people who’ve done it on iPhone, what was the actual process? Anything you wish you knew before activating? Also did you install before the trip or wait until landing?

What’s the ideal time of year to travel to Thailand?

I’m trying to plan a Thailand trip and I realized there’s way more debate about timing than I expected.

At first I thought there was one obvious “best season,” but then I started seeing people say the cool season is crowded, the rainy season is underrated, and shoulder season gives the best balance.

Right now I’m mostly interested in good weather, food, walking around cities, beaches, day trips, and avoiding spending the whole trip hiding from either rain or extreme heat.

I’ll probably split time between places like Bangkok and a few other areas, but I’m flexible.

For people who’ve been to Thailand, when did you go and would you choose the same time again? Was peak season actually worth it or did you enjoy going during a quieter period more?
