how to get dentists to take my concerns seriously? or how to end them at least

i brush twice a day and floss once every two days. i dont drink or smoke

i had a small black spot in between two molars that got dismissed as discoloration that'll go away with some brushing. some time later i get immense pain from that area and when i visited the dentist it turned into a cavity that's very close to the pulp but didnt need a root canal yet. fast forward a year later and i get way worse pain, so i visit and he says nothing in the panorama photo or his inspection show any cause for concern, and yet after my persistence i ended up doing a root canal in that area and it turns out the pulp was necrotic.

i now have quite a few "discolored" spots in my mouth (one thats in between a molar and premolar but in the other direction) that would be unethical to treat according to everyone i ask, but it just feels like they're waiting on them to get worse. at only 19 ive filled all of my molars and most of my premolars (some more than once) and gotten a root canal. i keep getting my teeth checked only to be told to brush harder because intervention at that point would be morally wrong and when i finally have enough they say that i should've visited earlier. is there anything i can do?

im confused

a lot of people on a previous post of mine told me to consider food therapy and an ARFID diagnosis for my little brother (8yo) with ADHD. we're not in a place where thats currently available but i tried looking at what ARFID is and how it presents but there are a lot of things that have me confused.

- he doesnt feed himself most of his food, esp heavy meals. he only eats bananas and apples on his own (and sometimes still lets us feed him) so i have little idea on how fast or slow he eats. he just follows whatever pace the person feeding him does.

- he does take a long time to feed himself the few times he does but it doesn't seem like a sensory thing. he usually just forgets that he's eating and wanders off. he needs constant reminders to finish eating whatever it is.

- he eats maybe 20(?) foods (main cause of concern) ill list them

red apples-bananas - rice with fried egg- rice alone - rice and kabsa chicken - rice with boiled chicken - kabab sandwich - cheese pizza with sauce - cheese pizza without sauce - plain boiled pasta - indomie - indomie with fried egg - vanilla ice cream - salt chips - vinegar chips - french fries (from some places) - orange juice - water - yogurt - hummus

he sometimes does eat them when other people make these foods but not all people

- he is adding more foods to the list over time. he sometimes tries stuff and spits them out. and he does try stuff if we give him rewards such as more screentime or toys. he also puts up with his foods being a bit different in terms of spices or sauces if we give him rewards (but rarely, and usually he doesn't finish the plate)

- does not swallow pills or syrup no matter what. immediately spots them in anything we hide it in.

im obviously not seeking a diagnosis on the world wide web, but as i know little about this disorder it could be that im missing a few things or dismissing the possibility based on stereotypes. but it also feels like its just the adhd bc his eating habits are inconsistent, he isn't the type to be stressed over food, and we don't put too much pressure on him to eat new things.

how to get adhd kid to drink medicine

my brother is 8 with severe adhd. he hates taking any form of meds, syrups or pills, even if they taste sweet. he barely eats 3-4 foods to begin with and doesnt like any juices or candies that we can sneak the medicine into. we usually resort to IM injections but the medicine he needs right now is only available as a syrup. he's not eating anything, barely drinking water, and not budging. we're at a total loss
