Hi Everyone,

Received an offer for an Electrical Engineering role that will require me to get clearance in Six months, due to my multiple foreign contacts and travel my interim wasn't granted and now I am awaiting a full clearance investigation. As well as due to me being out of the country I know have to wait for them to find me a foreign investigator.

All of this wouldn't worry me, but the 6 month thing does, is there a way to expedite this, people who went passed 6 months without clearance what happened

I recently accepted an offer with EB, but I was notified that my interim Secret clearance won't be granted and my case has gone pending for a full DCSA investigation.

My onboarding coordinator hasn't been responding, so I'm not sure what the next step is. I do have a contact at the company I can reach out to, but before I do, I was wondering if anyone here has gone through the same situation.

What happened after your interim wasn't granted? Did HR keep you updated, were you able to start in another role, or did you have to wait until your full clearance was adjudicated?

Just trying to get a sense of what the process typically looks like from here. Thanks.
