Bei uns auf der Arbeit hat mein Chef jetzt angefangen, Granola zu nutzen. Das ist eine KI, die in Teams oder Google Meetings alles aufnimmt, transkribiert und eine Zusammenfassung erstellt. Allerdings sehen die Teilnehmer des Meetings NICHT, dass eine KI dabei ist. Es wird auch nicht angesprochen.

Als mein Chef das zum ersten Mal erwähnt hat, fand ich das ehrlich gesagt ziemlich schwierig, weil man gar nicht weiß, in welchen Meetings die KI mitläuft. (Oder auch schon die ganze Zeit mitgelaufen ist)

Manchmal bespricht man ja auch am Anfang kurz private Themen in Meetings.

Jetzt sollen wir als Mitarbeiter das ebenfalls nutzen, auch in internen Meetings oder mit Kunden. Aber wir geben dabei niemandem Bescheid.

I bought a wedding ring at a shop that had good reviews & also reviews with pictures.

I contacted the seller beforehand because of an engraving and had good contact. I bought the ring and waited for a response of the seller. After a week I still didn't get any response, so I looked up our chat. When I clicked on the seller, it said "oops, sorry, the member you are looking for does not exist"

This basically means I'll never get my ring, right? 😅 And does anyone have any experience with getting your money back?

I'm actually born in the Netherlands, but moved to Germany as a kid, so I really adopted the German mindset: mind your own business, stay in line, always be super respectful even if someone crosses a boundary, don't say your honest opinion, don't speak up .... and honestly I hate it!!

Whenever I watch Dutch television, I'm so in aweee of the bluntness, how people just say what they think, do what they want & are more open. I also love that, when I visit the Netherlands, so many random people just start a little chat with me (for instance when I talk Dutch, but German to my partner, people will just have the courage to start small talk with us about where we're from etc.) this would never happen in Germany lol.

So... How can I train to get this side of my heritage back?! I also want to be direct like Dutch people and dgaf 🥺
