Looking to relocate to Poland from the US.
Little on my background:
Left my country (I won't reveal it, sorry) to live in the US since the age of 12, I am 21 now, I don't feel like staying here as I don't seem to like life here in general both financial, educational, might as well add social. It is true there were good things here, but in the long run, I would be better off somewhere else.
What pushed me to look into leaving this country was discovring the stupidity of worldwide income tax that I won't escape as a US citizen or a permanent resident, food that is being questioned regarding if it is organic or no, how far I would be living from my income in the US, how far will the country turn out like in the long run.
I went to look for a country which would be better in terms of life quality and grants citizenship, and Poland turned out to be the best choice based on what I have been reading such as how far Polish people are returning willingly due to the improvments in the quality of life which is to be honest the greatest sign of how a country is doing well.
Now:
I am still a college student but I am looking to relocate after graduation, I have heard what the Polish government does to foreigners especially from friends from my country, but they all said the government does nothing as long as you act within the law, all of them are happy in the country, never heard a single complain and minorities have no issues there.
I know that despite the good things about Poland, there are still downsides, it doesn't mean that people live like rich people, and compared to all of Europe, Poland is the most stable, has low taxes, has good life quality and good education.
- How is the job market for foreigners even with weak Polish language skills? I just started learning but I am doing well, still not in big conversations.
- How is the job market for those who are public health graduates?
- How is naturalization? (Ignore the language and the residency period as the difficulty) I heard it takes 7 years to naturalize. 5 to become a permanent resident, naturalize after maintaining permanent residency for 3 years.
- How is education for foreigners both public school and university?
- How would healthcare work for foreigners?
- What are the pros and cons when it comes to life in Poland?
- Anything more I should know?
