i am looking to get a reptile as a pet, as a somewhat beginner. it needs to fit in a 40 gallon or smaller. (36”18”18”). preferably a snake, but i also like lizards. i want something very handleable that wont hurt me. i was interested in hognose snakes but i heard that they fall out of your hands when you hold them unless you luke really hold them, i want something more like a boa that might wrap around my hand or something like that.
