- Shorts + 1 Max 2 paar Unterhosen
- Mesh Unterhemd
- Sun Hoodie
- fleece
- evtl daunenjacke
- Regenjacke und Rainshorts
- 2 Paar Socken

Bugs & Value proposition collapsing

Flighty value proposition is collapsing and I’m still missing AITA.

Missing Info
- Boarding time information: If read what @maarstad wrote, but why was AITA able to do it? It’s just cope that they don’t want to work, most airlines have clear general rules, information is available on airports etc.
- Check-in Time also not very clear, when does it start when does it end?
- Delays are not shown or come in delayed
Further, at least let this information be entered manually and be crowdsourced

- where’s my airplane basically never shows any info

Email Import basically never works
Like how hard would it be just let an LLM run over it?
Further, let me make a screenshot and share it to flighty and it gets the information from that

In-Flight Bug
- we’re about to take off, I set my phone to flight mode, flighty shoes we didn’t depart yet 🤦

Overall it all comes down to to flighty failing at the core task: show me how long until stuff.
Can I grab that sandwich before check-in closes? Metro or taxi to the airport? Still time for that movie before we land?

Aggravated by the fact that airlines apps now often offer that information, and are also the authoritative information provider

I’ve cancelled, but the need would still be there

Apps disappearing

Hi,

There’s the following bug with teams apps which happens when a User requests an App.

  1. there’s no way to approve requests, one can only delete them
  2. So I manually approve the app and install it for that user
  3. The app disappears for the user I.e. they can’t find it anymore in the app list
  4. They can click on a link to the app and then “use” it, but it’s half broken

What I’m trying to do is adding Azure Boards ( a Microsoft app 😞) to the devs channel, sth that worked with slack and github 8 years ago

Dell UltraSharp U4021QW - Never go with 4K on a Mac

Long story short, I can’t believe some people don’t have issues with this, the blurriness causes headaches.

Before jumping the gun on buying a 4K display I’ve had the chance to try out a 4K display. I’ve got the Dell UltraSharp U4021QW. And it’s a nice display, what can I say, maybe not the brightest. Now it started with using the default WQHD scaling with everything being comically large, so I’ve tried the built-in settings but the text was super blurry.

So I’ve installed better display tool as is recommend ed. I’ve played a bit around and thought I’ve found a good compromise with 175% scaling instead of the full 4K which renders elements too small. But it’s just a so slightly mess causing me headaches.

Anyway if anyone thinks to get away with a 4K display using a Mac. No you won’t.
Now is that the fault of Apple? Tbh I’d say no, at 27” 4K just doesn’t deliver an image where one doesn’t notice pixels hence the call for higher resolutions seems warranted.

For context I’m used to work on WQHD 27” or Studio Display with a Mac or 4K and Windows.

Hi,

So I’ll be getting a new monitor for my work as programmer. As the company pays budget shouldn’t be an issue, but it should also not be a “gaming” monitor as that’s hard to justify.

Ideally it’d be (and since it does not exist I’ll add my priority):
- Optimal black levels, I’ll watch lots of series and movies in a dark room (Little negotiable)
- HiDPI for perfect mac scaling (Little negotiable)
- 32” (Little negotiable)
- Above 60 Hz (Very negotiable)
- Reasonable Price sub 1k (Negotiable)
- Awesome text clarity and readable in a bright day (Not negotiable)

To me the Apple Pro Display XDR 32” seems to cross most checkboxes, but unfortunately it’s not being produced anymore, and every other display I can find has major drawbacks…

Most others don’t have local dimming, and that’s where the ASUS ProArt PA32UCDM would come in as OLED, but I’m afraid of text fringing, and it’s only 4K surely not improving clarity

In the office I’ve a Studio Display, it’s nice and the pixel density does indeed seem right and I’d not like to go much lower.
