I added a "stream the bottom screen to your phone" feature to Azahar

🚨 IMPORTANT: OpenGL ONLY in Linux and Windows versions.

Been messing around with Azahar source for a personal project and ended up building something I think is actually pretty useful: an in-game menu option that streams the emulated 3DS bottom screen live to a second phone over your local Wi-Fi, with touch input sent back so the second phone works as a real second touchscreen.

How activate:

Linux and Windows

Android:

As seen in the application when it detects a device:

It works from both an Android phone running Azahar and the Linux desktop build — either one can be the "sender," and the same little companion Android app works as the receiver either way.

Heads up, this is experimental / personal-project quality, not trying to oversell it:

- One viewer connected at a time.

- No auth/encryption on the stream — fine on your home Wi-Fi, don't expose this to anything untrusted.

- Built as a fork since it touches core rendering code, not something I'm trying to push upstream.

Downloads (prebuilt APK + Linux binary, plus the receiver app):

Happy to answer questions if anyone wants to try it or poke at the code.

Lots of PC emulation in these months

Don't you think it would be a good idea to separate PC emulation on Android into another sub?

It's becoming increasingly difficult to find posts about console emulation.

Or any subreddit you'd recommend that's purely for retro emulation?

VRR Problem in Legion Go

On my Legion Go, I enabled VRR on an external monitor and everything worked perfectly, but the problem is that it was never disabled.

Since the Legion Go's screen isn't VRR-compatible, I'm seeing frame drops even though it's running at 144Hz. I don't have my own VRR device to disable it from that monitor; it belongs to a relative I won't see again for a while.
