Are there more asexuals in Gen Z than previous generations or did asexuals just get more visible?

Like people used to have more kids before, now it's less. TFR is droping. the state wants more slaves in our overpopulated earth. it looks like conspiracy, "scientists" say it's a myth. are we just being gaslighted? elon musk is whining on twitter. like hell nah, im not gonna trust a man who robs me.

they say say it's "against biology", but there's nothing in theory of evolution saying EVERY individual in population has to procreate. it seems natural to me, that in overpopulated society less people want to have children. we're K-strategy species after all.

People around me seem to be allos, it's like i can't relate to them at all? Feels weird. I don't even tell my fam, only to close friends. My parents know, but they kinda mock it.

i'm building a library for jungian typology

I built it for my own theory initially, but then I realised i could share my tooling with other theories (socionics, MBTI etc).

it's written in Python and has clean API/infrastructure. it's already packaged and available on PyPI.

Besides generic features like lexical analysis and questionnaire tooling (from which socionics will certainly benefit), it already includes tooling specific to socionics, namely:

  1. ITRs and Reinin traits (not fully implemented yet, but going to be complete in next release)
  2. Signing IMEs for sociotypes (both legacy and modern versions)
  3. Model A and Model J stack derivation

Algorithms for working with small groups and dimensionality are also planned in near future.

Writing a custom syntax highlighting plugin

i want to make syntax highlighting for my custom PL in Vim, but writing Vimscript is surprisingly tedious...

built-in `:syn` is very quirky to use. i tried this from the manual:
:syntax region tolString start=+"+ skip=+\\"+ end=+"+

But it doesn't render in my terminal like i expected. Idk what i should do with this and how to make it work.
I've read `:help :syn-region` and `:help :syn-match` but they're not that clear...

Also: maybe i can just make a vim highlighting plugin from lex file somehow? that would be neat...

EDIT: The mistake was really dumb. I had conflicting syntax files..... 🤦‍♂️

i believe if you like someone you might just ask them out and check how it goes. the rest is lame excuses of guys who don't dare to ask. and also people talk that bullshit, like they'll lose interest because you're "accessible" blah blah blah. wtf is going in their heads?

when ppl show interest in me, it usually makes me more interested in them. if they don't show interest i'm very likely to gradually lose interest myself as well.

so, my take is: people overcomplicate this stuff
