Tarik Biberovic, way early thoughts?

Tarik Biberovic, way early thoughts?

9 points friday, 8 points today. 5/14 from 3, 36%.

He was a lot better on defense than I thought he would be. He made multiple disruptive plays where he predicted offense's moves. He is listed as 6'7 on basketballreference, but I'm pretty sure he is 6'5.5 or something. Definitely not 6'7.

I liked his shot mechanics, the shot itself is fast. But he takes too much time to set his feet, which allows defense to close on him. He could've taken 2-3 more open 3's each game but it took too long for him to set his feet.

I think he regretted giving up the open 3's, so he forced some 3's in the next possessions. He took some horrible shots, so I'm surprised that he shot 36% from 3. I think if his shot selection gets better, he might be a 40%-45% 3pt shooter.

He didn't handle the ball too much, but when he did, I thought he picked up the ball too fast. It might be a confidence thing.

His court vision is definitely underrated, he made multiple across the court passes. He also made some extra passes to the open shooter, which showed his willingness to play winning basketball, even in a pre-season game where he needed to put up some numbers.

He needs to work on his off-ball movement. Sometimes he clogged the mid-range too much while moving off-ball, and cut off possible driving lanes for the attacker.

It's funny he went against Bogdan Bogdanović, because I felt like I was watching young Bogdan Bogdanović. I can definitely see him being a 12-15 points type player while shooting above 40% from 3.

Why people don't really care about The Challenge compared to other reality shows

I know this is the Challenge sub and people love the Challenge and are already writing an angry paragraph about my title, but please bear with me and read the full thing.

Bananas & Tori recently said The Challenge people are treated like trash compared to Survivor & Big Brother players. Bananas said on The Traitors that he felt like some guy who came in 3rd on Big Brother 15 years ago got more respect than five time Challenge champions.

And they are right. People don't care about The Challenge. The greatest reality TV producer John de Mol once said "If the viewers can't fantasize about being a contestant on the show while watching it, they are not gonna care about your show."

The Challenge lacks the very basic aspect of a reality show: the viewer can't even fantasize about going on The Challenge. They don't cast everyday people. Even their "newbies" are already reality tv stars from other shows. So your everyday average Joe can't even imagine about going on The Challenge.

Whereas on Survivor, that's a huge selling point. Jeff sometimes even pops up and says, "You think you got what it takes? Apply to be on Survivor!" Players like Cirie are always advertised as "someone who got off the couch." That's not just a saying, that's a production trick to make the people at home feel like they could get off the couch and compete as well, which makes them care about the show more. There is a reason why Cirie is so beloved in the Survivor community, people root for her because they see themselves in her.

People won't give a shit about The Challenge or its winners as long as they keep bringing back the same returnees and casting "newbies" from other reality tv shows. They are violating the very basic rules of reality tv. Your average viewer needs to be able to imagine themselves doing the show.

And when you keep bringing back the same returnees, 90% of the social gaming happens outside of the game. The show lacks the social relationship building storylines, we are just being told "These people are friends, these people are enemies." Which, again, is a horrible way to present a "reality" show. Why would I care about their friendship being broken up if I haven't seen the friendship forming?

What happens if Giannis doesn't re-sign with the Heat but instead signs with the Bucks?

Dame basically did the same.

Portland did an entire re-build after getting assets for Dame and made the playoffs once again, and then they got Dame back for absolutely nothing.

Can Giannis do the same? There is no legal requirement for Giannis to re-sign with the Heat. What if the Heat don't even make the playoffs? What if Giannis is looking for a new team next off season, and thinks the Bucks might be his bet to protect his legacy?

Would Adam Silver intervene and say no? Would Giannis care if he gets hated for it?

Pubg bots giving me ptsd

I'm just trying to play an online game with other humans.

Pubg bots are like hackers who know exactly where you are at all time, who can teleport you where you are at all time, and start shooting at you without you hearing a single thing.

Let me loot. Stop sending me 10 bots in the first 2 minutes when I don't even have a vest. I'm in the second floor of a house looting, and all of a sudden I got hit with a bomb, only to get shot immediately by 2 other bots.

Wtf is this? I just wanna enjoy the game. 80% of the games are just bots. It's giving me ptsd, I can't even enjoy the game because I'm always worried some random bots are going to teleport and start shooting at me from 3 different angles.

Traitors Australia Season 3 is an S-tier season

Season 3 had everything a great season should have.

Great characters, fun gameplay, production showing the meta gaming, smart gamers, multiple storylines, and of course a great host!

Dicko, who basically created a voting cult and didn’t care who was faithful and who was a traitor. Iconic character.

Krissy & Kiera, emotional faithfuls who changed their votes at the last second multiple times, made great TV. Iconic characters.

AJ, who nailed every traitor in the game with 100% accuracy and then tried to pit them against each other. Iconic character.

Luke & Josh, the twin detectives. They got more wrong than right, but they were still iconic as twins.

Rhys, who got dealt the worst hand but always found humour in it and surprisingly managed to survive until the finale. Iconic character.

Even players with less screen time, like Tully, Lawson, Rob, Manaaki, Kween, Henry, all managed to nail the traitor, Kirby, but got sniped right before they could do anything about it.

And last but not least, Kirby. What a rollercoaster! The fact that so many people planned to gun for her and got taken out right before they could speaks volumes about her intuition. Against all odds, she made it.

I don’t remember a single traitor in any English version who got nailed as the traitor by so many faithfuls, yet still made it to the end and won the money. She is truly a survivor!

Pablo Torre's next target is confirmed; it's Magic Johnson

Magic Johnson "acquired" an insurance company (Equitrust) from Mark Walter. That insurance company then funneled hundreds of millions of dollars in loans into Mark Walter’s media business. This media company held the exclusive rights to the Dodgers local tv channel, which benefited their shared ownership of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Regulators are investigating whether these deals were undisclosed and improper, effectively using the retirement funds of everyday Americans to fuel high stakes sports investments.

Everything is alleged, innocent until proven guilty.

The real reason why _____ wanted _____ out

The real reason why Dee wanted Devens out was to make sure the deal with Yash was still valid.

If Yash wins the next hoh and puts up three non-icons and the 4th non-icon wins the veto and uses it on someone, the deal is off since Yash's only options are the icons.

But if Devens went out this week, then Yash would've had another non-icon person to put up, which would mean safety for Dee. So by voting out an icon, Dee makes sure the deal with Yash is still valid.

If Yash doesn't win the next hoh, I fully expect Dee to vote out another icon just to keep the deal going.

Similarly, If it's final 6 and we have two icons left in the game and Yash still hasn't won an HOH, I fully expect Dee to target the other icon just to make sure the deal is still valid if Yash wins the next HOH.

Now that we know the HOH and the noms, what happens if Yash reveals the bribe deal?

If Yash reveals to Drew that Dee made a deal to keep the icons safe and basically forcing Yash to target Barrett-Drew in his HOH, how would Drew react?

If Yash wins the veto and reveal this, would Drew re-nom & target Dee just to break the bribe deal?

What if Drew or Melody wins the veto and Yash reveal this info? Would they use the veto on Yash and target Dee, or would it seal Yash's fate even more and he becomes the number 1 target?

What if Taylor or Lala wins the veto, Yash doesn't reveal the bribe, Drew puts up Devens as the re-nom. And then Devens reveals the deal to make the other hgs target Yash since he'll be forced to put the newbies up? If Devens & Yash are on the block at the end of the week, would revealing the bribe help Devens to persuade Barrett-Melody to keep him?

I feel like there are so many different scenarios how leaking the bribe deal could be used by different people to give incentives to others, I'm so intrigued by it!

If y'all have any other ideas how revealing the bribe could change the outcome of this week, I'd love to hear it!
