Business owner

Are there any foreign business owners in here? If so what was the most difficult thing about starting? Most difficult thing running your business day to say and do you believe it has changed your life or is a job better? Asking for a friend trying to switch visas

What's missing?

I am curious for the people traveling for cosmetic procedures, what is something that would have made it easier for you? What did you like about the booking? What could have been better?

Choosing a partner

I have a question: if you grew up poor but worked for your education and got a great job, would you want a partner who did the same—someone from the same area as you but who hasn't left—or someone who grew up with no worries and is also doing well for themselves?

Trying to get to America

I had no clue this was a thing or maybe it's something new but my friend (female American) asked me if I wanted to go to America (She knows I plan on doing my masters there) I told her yes and then she proposed. I asked her what made her think I wanted to go to America that way and she responded she has dated a lot of Korean men who was hoping she would get them a visa. Am I missing something? When have Korean men every married just for a visa?

Apologizing to OP who posted about there bad experience at Mimi

I saw where OP comment but then deleted the comment and I just want to say there is absolutely nothing wrong with speaking out about a hospital that blotched you. It helps others I just mentioned you posting about it to get an understanding as to why commenter instantly mentioned Korea in reference to the news article you posted. SO I WANT TO APOLOGIZE TO OP IF IT CAME OFF RUDE, CONDESCENDING, OR IF IT SEEMED LIKE I WAS TRYING TO SILENCE YOU. AGAIN I AM SO SORRY.

Can I vent?

As much as I cherish my community and genuinely want to support everyone in their endeavors, I am beginning to realize a sobering truth: many people aren’t interested in learning the skills necessary to sustain themselves; instead, they prefer simply receiving help in the form of immediate solutions. It’s disheartening to witness this mindset because so many individuals fail to grasp the long-term benefits of acquiring these essential skills. Learning how to fish, both literally and metaphorically, is far more valuable than receiving a one-time meal. It equips them with the knowledge and tools to thrive independently, fostering resilience and self-sufficiency. This realization has left me pondering how I can encourage a shift in perspective, so that more people understand the importance of empowerment through education rather than reliance on others.
