To everyone setting off insanely unnecessary illegal fireworks tonight, especially the mortars that makes it sound like we're in a war zone:

Fuck you. Fuck you so much. Fuck you for every veteran with PTSD that you trigger within a 10 block radius. Fuck you for every refugee living with us from a war torn country. Also, fuck you on behalf of everyone with their pets, who have been existing in fight or flight for a solid 24hrs around the 4th because people are still apparently fascinated by loud sounds...."ooohhhhBOOMooooh."

Next year I'm finding every one of your asses in my neighborhood and chucking in giant glitter-laden water balloons, before launching a handful of stinkbombs into your back yard and covering your pool deck in Lego.

ETA- Apparently y'all can't read the part that says ILLEGAL fireworks and MORTARS. I get it, it's boom boom day. still. fucking. illegal. fireworks.

We were contacted in our zip code about this, and will be getting a eucalyptus tree planted and set up for irrigation in our front yard for free by the city!

After dealing with a never ending parade of condescending men while rehabbing and renovating our property, my wife and I are over it (IYKYK). We want to give our money to women and/or queer owned and operated businesses that don't act like our silly little lady brains can't possibly comprehend the complexity of their manual labor. Also, they're creepy.

We'd like to have a go-to handyma'am for random repairs, but we're also specifically looking for women that do :

• - landscaping/irrigation install and repair
• - vinyl flooring plank installation
• - wall tile installation
• - electrical
• - plumbing

ETA- Sorry to all the men whose feelings I hurt with this question. I forget how emotional and worked up you can get about these things. I'll try to be more sensitive to that in future posts.

I came across a video today about Domino brand powdered sugar and a massive shortage in their bags. Apparently due to a miscalibration while packaging, their 2lb bags of sugar only contained 1lb of product for about a 3 week period.

So, I was wondering- wouldn't someone, somewhere along the transport process notice that their load weight was half of what it should have been? Idk how that sort of thing is tracked and monitored, but I'm confused how that wouldn't have raised red flags...
