Where have I put my bloody glasses?
F 50, adhd and fully menopausal. Put my glasses down last night (after a nice bottle of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc) and can’t find them. Can’t see to drive, couldn’t see instructor at gym and glasses are nowhere to be seen

I just went to the theatre
And two things made EOD cross my mind. One my poor husband was sat next to the smelliest bloke in the world who must be nose blind to his own stank and two the utter talent, professionalism and dedication of the cast. You could see the literal blood sweat and tears that had gone into the production. It was mesmerising, breathtaking and stunning as a performance but these actors had the absolute thing that makes them stars. As an audience member it’s easy to sit and think wow but when you think of the work and the utter dedication it is mind blowing.
YOU CANNOT JUST WALK INTO WEST END ROLES. people train for literally years and have such a strong work ethic and tenacity, courage to face auditions and TALENT.

The echo chamber podcast
I just spent a few hours listening to the first couple of episodes and it was so refreshing. I try to stay out of awareness communities etc as I’m far too old and tired for all that but I really enjoyed the podcast.
It introduced me to some problematic characters I wasn’t even aware of and it was measured, intelligent and non biased

15 months on mounjaro (f, 50yo, uk)
15 months progress minus a month on wegovy where I put a stone back on. Really enjoying the difference in this heat (uk) and am just amazed at the difference in little things like climbing stairs, being in control of my hunger/appetite and feeling “normal”
No side effects apart from a major improvement in my Crohn’s disease and bowels in general

I have a theory
I have woken up with a theory about the rose west cosplaying Mrs Doubtfire get up yesterday
As stomper professes they are so “lovely and quiet and a caring fluffy woowoo” “in real life” they have tried the make up, sequins, scantily clad gurllll who’s a “s*ut and a “*tch and a *lag” and that’s clearly not worked so now, like the opposite of our dear Sandy in Grease they have decided to have a make under to support the “I’m so lovely be my friend IN REAL LIFE” narrative.
However as with everything Stomper does there are a few problems 1) too little too late 2) you still look like you rolled in pritt stick and ran through the rag recycling plant 3) you are a despicable person to the core regardless of what “lady costume” you choose 4) you left you young cat boiling hot in a death trap full of manky bags of rubbish and god knows what other harmful detritus lying about

Defying cavities 🦷
So once again they have wasted an nhs dental SURGERY appointment. I am incandescent with rage. As a former dental employee and someone who had to pay over £400 to have a tooth removed privately who the hell so they think they are? The sense of entitlement, lack of respect and abusing a crumbling (like their teeth) system I can’t even. I am more disgusted than I have ever been with this bone idle layabout benefit scrounging walloper. I really hope karma is storing up a nice big chunk of repayment.
Can’t say I’m surprised but I am so so angry. That’s enough internet for me today
Edit to add they had the AUDACITY to sit on kick and say they “rescheduled” because their insta got banned. Wtaf
