[HIRING] Freelance Wikipedia Page Creator
Hey all,
We're a digital marketing agency looking to bring on a freelancer to create Wikipedia pages for our clients. Looking for someone who actually knows how Wikipedia works and not a content-mill "guaranteed publish" service.
What we need:
Notability research done before writing (real independent sources, not press releases)
Neutral, policy-compliant drafting
Proper WP:PAID / conflict-of-interest disclosure on your end
Submission through Articles for Creation (AfC) and follow-through on reviewer feedback
Basic post-publish monitoring for a set period after the page goes live
What we'll need from you:
Your Wikipedia username (we will check your edit history)
Links to 2-3 articles you've created that are still live 6+ months after publishing
A quick note on how you'd assess notability for a new subject before taking it on
Your per-page rate
Scope: This is an ongoing engagement, not a one-off job. We manage multiple client accounts, and Wikipedia work comes up regularly, so we're looking to build a working relationship with someone reliable rather than hire per project. Clients are legitimate businesses/professionals with real media coverage.
Budget: Open, and will depend on complexity/research depth per client. Please share your per-page rate when you reach out. Wea re not looking for the cheapest bid, we're looking for someone whose pages actually survive.
To apply: Comment or DM with your Wikipedia username, 2-3 live article examples, and your per-page rate. We will skip the "I guarantee 100% approval" pitches. We have heard them and we know how this actually works.
Thanks!
