i live far from my uni but transportation is very very convenient where i live but it’s still roughly a bit less than two hours to campus but transportation isn’t my biggest issue, my issue is my parents still treat me like a child and think they have control over everything I do, i have a curfew at nine!, and so obviously the choice is move out right but i also have a dog and my dog is very dear to me and she’s turning eight, im aware for a small dog that isn’t too old but it’s still tick tock yk. i don’t want her to think im abandoning her 😔

dorms are relatively cheap, enough that i could cover it myself with my part time job. i don’t know what to do. i really love my dog.

also two hours is not that far to me as ive lived in the countryside my entire life; everything is always at least an hour away. and transportation is easy and chill.

how bad is the construction noise for lee shau kee hall? i chose the hall bc it was close to campus and cheap and while i was fully aware there would be construction i just wanna grasp roughly how bad it would be so i can idk mentally prepare?

I’d like to preface I’m completely fine with idols dating but I hate when fans will literally ship anyone of the opposite sex together. Like let’s say XYZ of a boy group stands next to or promotes with ABC who’s a girl, suddenly everyone’s saying they’re so cute and shipping and saying they definitely like each other when all they’ve done is look at each other when the other talks.
And then the comments or the caption are saying stuff like “he finally found someone lol” or etc under the guise of being “supportive” but to me it just feels like overcompensation to show that they’re “so chill” with their idol dating and they’re not a koreaboo or wtv but to me idk it just pisses me off especially because a lot of the times this leads to hate towards both people involved if it blows up, and a perfectly good friendship or simply colleague relationship is ruined. Maybe I’m secretly toxic but is it just me???

Edit: It’s not shipping that I’m frustrated at, like I’m aware that’s a big fan culture thing but it’s the immediate STATEMENT and CONCLUSION that some people make when two people stand next to each other. Like they’ve decided they HAVE TO be dating already and then they get super defensive about it when anyone brings up it may be platonic. Just frustrating 😓🤣

I got a conditional offer of 34 from hku and i narrowly missed it scoring a 33. so i tried my luck with remarking and i ended up getting a 34. what do i do now? 😭 do I just wait? my final transcript still hasn’t been sent and i don’t have access to it and I already emailed the admissions team and changed the unofficial transcript to match my current grade.

I started playing again after a few months and i suddenly can’t get into silverdale even though I already did all the quests. Every time I attempt to cross into it I just get a black screen and then the game moves me a few steps back. Does anyone know why? I can’t advance bc I only have side quests in silverdale left

idk what happened but my widgets used to be in the very corner of my screen however it suddenly can't be placed there. I already tried pressing command as I move the widget but it doesn't work there's just an invisible barrier and its really pissing me off
