AW3926QW arrives tomorrow!

As the title says, its on the way.

For anyone else waiting on their order, I am based in Australia and placed my order on 27 July 2026. The original delivery date was scheduled as 27 August 2026 but I received notification today that it is en route.

I am both exicted and nervous having read through people's experience in this forum.

To some degree, the issues raised appear to be by design, in that the edge dimming and green tinge off angles is part of the built in OLED care features.

On the other side, other users have not reported these issues. Whether its because they have not noticed, or whehter that is due to some type of panel lottery, who knows.

All I do know is that I am cautiously optimistic.

I have been looking forward to this monitor as I will be coming from a XG32UCWMG. When I found out the AW3926QW has the same glossy panel, I couldn't help myself but to cave and buy it.

My XG32UCWMG will be getting refunded due to faults, and that refund will inevitably cover the entire cost of the Alienware.

That being said, I will keeping the XG32UCWMG until I confirm that I am keeping the Alienware, as if the issues are present and prevelant, I may simply ask for a refund.

So anyways, if you have questions or things you want me to test, drop them below and I'll try to respond when I can and test things out for you.

If you own the monitor already, let me know your experience and any tips you may have to maximise it.

Frozen screen with blue vertical lines, does anyone know what this is?

This has happened to me twice in the past 2 days. My screen has flashed to this, while doing normal browsing no gaming, and basically my GPU will not output any display.

I tried changing the cable, reseating the cable, turning monitor on and off. The monitor would no longer recognise any signal when plugged in again and I would have to manually power down my PC and turn it on again to get any image displayed again.

At first I thought maybe it was the monitor but also I couldn't get my second monitor on and working whilst this was happening and my second monitor would only display again after reboort.

I have also noticed the past 4-5 months sometimes when powering PC on, my screen would flash white with blue vertical lines similar to what is shown here, but it would flash/flicker on and off quickly for about 30 seconds before going away.

The past 2 days this has happened to me, the screen stays like this and I can only get my GPU to output display again after rebooting the PC.

I checked my Event Viewer and there was no error or warnings around the time either of these screen freezes/crashes occured.

Monitor is ASUS XG32UCWMG.

System specs are

CPU 9950X3D
RAM 32 GB DDR5 6400mhz
GPU ASUS TUF RTX 5080

1000W Seasonic PSU

MSI Mag Tomohawk B850 MOBO

Samsung Pro 980 and 990 SSDs (OS is on 980 Pro)

Currently running NVIDIA Studio Driver 610.62 and was on this driver during both crashes.

PSA to Australians - AW3926QW available for order on Dell's website again

To any Australians who missed out on ordering the AW3926QW before stock ran out, they are available again for purhcase in Australia with an estimated delivery date by 26 August 2026.

For those of us (myself included) who managed to get an order in previously but had their shipping delayed to 27 August 2026, hopefully this means our monitors may come in sooner.
