Have ended up with an old Sun bicycle. Considering trying to restore it a bit over summer, but have no clue!

Hey there. As per title, I've ended up with this old Sun bicycle. Can anyone tell me anything about the model / age of it, and whether it's likely to be worth my time trying to fix it up a bit over summer (in the knowledge that I have zero clue about what to do!)?

Any pointers to good sources for info on the bike / restoration would be appreciated too. My Google searches aren't turning out very helpful.
