Nerve or something came out of mouth
I didn't end up getting a picture. Not even sure if my camera would pick it up. I was using my scaler to scoop food debris out from my wisdom tooth(it's exposed with a bit of skin so I have to manually remove food from the 'pocket')
When I pulled the scaler out I noticed whati at first thought was a hair or fuzz but then it moved. Like curled up. It was white and about half the thickness of a human hair, maybe thinner, and one end was frayed into root like ends. About a centimeter long
I uncurled it and I saw it continue to twist and move. It was not being manipulated by air this was a very distinct twisting and moving.
Internet says there is no possible way a nerve could have broken and come out. Although I saw and old picture from a reddit post of an extracted tooth with nerve attached and the nerve looked EXACTLY the same as what I found.
That or it's a parasite. Which I can't find any that are that small but still visible. And I'm just hoping it's not..
Or perhaps a part of my dental floss and physics are somehow making it twist and curl for several minutes?
Oh and idk it related but I've had cottonmouth all day and I do not smoke anything
I don't know help😭
