these are my first books into this hobby and I feel like I'm setting the bar way too high. I also read asian comics so it's unbelievable seeing stories so thought through and in those medias it's like a miracle to find something that doesn't make you feel like burning the author. should I just look up generic fantasy books after this? roughly how many books like this are there? 20?

I asked for books of my taste and have a small list, these 2 are fantastic but I also tried the first law trilogy but couldn't bring myself to like it, it looks popular so that would mean there's a lot of the good books that I'll hate
