Don’t get me wrong. I’m glad the city is repairing and improving roads, but OH MY GOD. It’s insane how many major streets are down to two lanes for miles or just completely blocked for months if not years, sometimes with crews actively working but often times not, not to mention closures for private construction projects and special events. It’s honestly worse than I can ever remember it.
I’m traveling to Atlanta for Shaky Knees on Friday but didn’t love the Saturday lineup, so of course I bought a solo ticket for the game and rented a car to drive to Oxford on Saturday, then back to Atlanta for the end of the festival on Sunday. Brilliant? Stupid? Just crazy? I guess we’ll find out! 🤷♂️
Picking up my new CX-50 Hybrid in Soul Red in a couple weeks and I’ve heard the paint notoriously prone to chips so I’m planning to get PPF (aftermarket shop). Trying to decide should I have the full car done or just the highest risk areas?
I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with treating Alzheimer's in someone with MCAS. My mother is still a candidate for infusions (Leqembi or Kisunla), but we're concerned that her autoimmune/allergic response may make her more prone to a reaction or other severe side effects. Her neurology PA is researching but there doesn't seem to be a a study on the overlapping conditions and treatment. For what it's worth, she has one of the two genes that increase her risk of ARIA. Over the years, I’ve heard of a few songs that became hits that Stevie was offered but passed on for various reasons. The list I know of is below along with who ultimately recorded it. Total Eclipse of the Heart and Bette Davis Eyes get mentioned frequently because similarities of the singers’ voices, but from what I can find, they weren’t actually meant for her. Any others?
