It is genuinely just embarrassing that people are making all sorts of conclusions from a meaningless game

Do we still need signings? Yes.

Did we play poorly yesterday? Yes.

But, it is absolutely stupid to draw inferences from that game and conclude we are going to be poor in the actual season. It shows you really haven't been following United for a while.

Pulled up some results over the years for you lot.

1996/97: Lost heavily in preseason to Inter and Ajax, then went on to win the Premier League.

2007/08: Lost 3–2 to Inter amid talk of defensive problems, then won the Premier League and Champions League. Also, lost to Al Hilal in a mid season friendly.

2010/11: Lost to 10-man Kansas City Wizards in preseason, then won the league and reached the Champions League final.

2001/02: Won five of seven preseason games and scored 30 goals, then finished third and trophy-less.

2014/15: Went unbeaten in preseason and beat Real Madrid and Liverpool, then finished fourth and trophyless.

2019/20: Had an excellent unbeaten preseason, then struggled badly through the first half of the league season.

First shot of the day significantly slow

Have been using my move for a week now and everything is great apart from shot time consistency, which seems to be a recurring problem with this machine across many users.

In my case; I am seeing significantly long time for my first shot of the day (usually around 10-11 am). And the weird thing is that time is not changing even with making the grinder grind coarser. So, even after 3 markings coarser on my philos, my espresso vivace beans are running around 60 seconds to produce 22ml from a 21 gram dose. The espresso tastes amazing though, so I guess I shouldn't complain, but the snob in me is trying to figure out what's going on.

Thoughts?

How do you use your scale and steam milk at the same time?

Those who use a scale to brew by weight and also steam at the same time on the move, how do you keep track of the weight? Just keep an eye on the scale and turn the machine off when desired weight is reached while you are steaming or are you first pulling the shot and then steam? How long is the overall workflow?

New Move worth it?

I'm considering the Move, but it seems like the Move 2 is coming soon, although I'm not sure how long it will take to get stock in the US. It seems like the updates are mostly on the connectivity side and will be possible for move 1 owners to get upgraded down the line.

I have a Cafelat Robot and have played around with a pressure sensor, shot tracking, and stuff like that, and to be honest with you, I lost interest in it pretty quickly. These days, I just pull my shots. So, I'm not sure the extra features are really what I would use for long term. Plus, who knows, the 2 could have other issues that the first one doesn't have, since the original is already mature on the market.

Any thoughts?

N30i design is extremely poor

I started my CPAP therapy last year with the P10 mask and was doing very well, but eventually, it started feeling uncomfortable inside my nose. I would end up just pulling the mask off in the middle of the night.

Because of that, I switched to the N30i and initially found it extremely comfortable. I consistently saw high leak rates in the app, but I didn't pay much attention to it because I had read the N30i can have higher leak rates while still treating you properly. However, I was waking up feeling exhausted, like my pre cpap days. Looking into apple health app, I was seeing micro-arousals, most likely waking up due to the noise of the air leaking whenever the mask shifted off my nose. Practically speaking, my therapy wasn't working at all, but I just thought it's because I am stressed and nothing to do with my cpap accessories.

I decided to give the P10 another try 3 days back and voilà. Multiple deep sleep phases, no arousals, and even with only 6 hours of sleep, I feel way more refreshed compared to 7 hours with the N30i.
For anyone using the N30i who feels like their therapy isn't working: it could just be the mask. It seems like it's designed for a very specific type of sleeper, mainly people who don't move much and stay on their backs.

So, the whole system failed the victims. Judges, the police, and everyone else failed to identify a violent criminal who is a threat to society and allowed him to roam freely. On top of that, he was allowed to rent a home and was paired up with an innocent unsuspecting international student. I wonder how many criminals like Hisham are just casually walking among us because of the absurd legal and justice system of the US.
