Schnellster Weg zur Merkur Spiel-Arena aus Richtung Norden/A3 bei Konzert?

Hallo zusammen,

Vielen Dank euch!

TikTok Shop Affiliate for US-Market from Europe

I live in Europe and I have grown an account to almost 40k followers with entertaining content (no monetization yet). Those followers are mainly located in the US. I want to start promoting TikTok Shop Products to this market, but I read, that it's only possible if I live in the US.

If that's true, I will never be able to monetize my channel and have to start new. Is this true?

If I start with product placements, would TikTok automatically shift my viewers to the European market? Where should I go from here?

What’s stopping everyone from just putting affiliate links in their bio?

I’ve been looking into monetization options, and I genuinely don’t understand why more people aren’t doing this.

TikTok Shop affiliate requirements can be high, but you only need 1,000 followers to add a bio link. Some affiliate programs offer 30 to 40% commission, which seems far easier than building and managing your own product.

I previously promoted my own digital product, but managing it was a hassle. Affiliate offers seem much simpler, which is why I want to shift my focus there.

So what am I missing here? Why isn’t everyone doing this?

Best practice for content updates in Supabase production DB?

I just recently set up my local Supabase dev instance (thanks to you) and am still refining my workflow.

For schema changes, Claude Code recommends handling them locally via migrations and pushing them to production afterward. That's understood. But CC suggests that content inserts or updates to existing data should be done directly in the production SQL Editor.

The content is some kind of niche wiki and I would add entries on a regular basis (maybe daily).

Is direct production editing actually standard practice, or should content changes also follow a structured dev-to-prod workflow?

I have a tiktok channel with about 50.000 followers where I only post entertaining stuff. I didn’t use it to promote anything yet but considering to monetize it now. Is it possible to just choose a product from TikTok shop and start promoting it? Or are collabs still the best way?

I recently launched an iOS app using Supabase as my backend. Right now I only have one project/branch (main, marked as production), and the app is already live.

My main question:

Do I actually need the Pro plan mainly for branching and proper dev/staging workflows, or is it realistic to continue on the Free plan while my production database is live?

More specifically:

  • Can I safely keep developing new features while my production DB is active on Free?
  • How risky is it to make schema/content changes directly on the main project?
  • Are most indie developers just using one live DB in the beginning and being careful with migrations?
  • At what stage does upgrading to Pro become truly necessary?

My app is currently relatively simple (mostly content), but I obviously want to avoid breaking production while continuing development.

Would appreciate practical advice from other indie devs using Supabase.

We’re selling a digital product (a productivity app) and have built a solid TikTok following through no-face content so far, mostly infographics, screen recordings, and similar formats.

Now we’re considering testing short UGC-style videos featuring real people on camera.

The idea:

  • 5–6 clips
  • Around 10 seconds each
  • Front-facing selfie style
  • Creator briefly explains a relatable daily productivity problem
  • Shows how our app helps solve it
  • We would post these videos on our own TikTok account

The creator’s follower count doesn’t really matter, since we’re mainly paying for content creation, not distribution.

Our questions:

  • What’s a realistic price range for this type of content?
  • Is Upwork a good platform for finding creators for this, or are there better alternatives for sourcing affordable UGC creators?

Would appreciate insights from anyone with experience!
