If anyone tries to tell you Elain feeling the mating bond tug in her rib, is “weird” remember this:

The quote mirrors a similar quote from Jane Eyre (1847), a book SJM has read 5 times 👀

So if anyone tries to tell you it’s weird, it’s not romantic, it’s creepy etc, they’re wrong, because SJM clearly got inspiration for it, from one of the most famous and influential romance novels of all time 🥰

Today we are voting between these 2 moments:

Elain preparing a horse for Feyre, which is from this scene in ACOTAR:

Elain, to my surprise, had a horse, a satchel of food, and supplies ready when I hurried down the stairs.
My father was nowhere in sight.
But Elain threw her arms around me, and, holding tightly, said, "I remember-l remember all of it now."
