We’ve already established that Elizabeth and Darcy are basically an Elucien variant and that their stories feel so similar. 🥹❤️ But this edit just made me scream?? Darcy stealing glances at Elizabeth when she isn’t looking and Elizabeth looking at him the second he turns away?? PLEASEEEEE.

The tension, the slowburn, the yearning, the memorizing each other while pretending not to care, the mutual curiosity hidden under misunderstanding and pride?? It’s literally the same emotional blueprint. They spend half the story pretending they’re unaffected while being painfully and obviously consumed by each other.

I can’t wait for Elucien to have the “I can’t stand you” to “you are the center of every thought I have” pipeline in its purest form. 😭❤️‍🔥

And this songggggg Orbiter by Noah Kahan is SOOOO Elucien coded too!! It captures that feeling of orbiting and circling around someone even when you’re trying not to and being unable to fully let go no matter how hard you try… like it fits them SO PAINFULLY WELL. *adds it to the Elucien album*

I finally caved and watched Off Campus and this scene immediately made me think of Lucien and Elain 😭

“Hold still,” he murmurs softly, fingers loosening the laces behind her back.

“You’re pulling too hard,” she whispers, even as she leans back into him.

“Funny,” Lucien says against her ear, breath warm on her skin, “you were asking me not to stop a moment ago.”

Okay guys, I was on Twitter and saw this. Gwyn and the priestesses were singing at the cult and Nesta starts "hallucinating" and manages to see the images from the song in an ancient language. I found it curious that these were her visions... intentional? Earth and Sun (Elucien?) Rivers and Shadows (Gwynriel?) Remember: Gwyn was singing.

Gorgeous girl with curly brown hair whose name means "bright", who loves plants, forcibly taken from her home, emerged from ordeal barely dressed, already engaged/married to bum-ass loser when she's forcibly married/bonded to a new man, with knowledge of the future who is constantly underestimated

They (really) hate it when you serve:

Hot and sassy redheaded outcast, brutally scarred by the Act 1 antagonist, fishes with his bare hands, wraps her in his clothing after her ordeal, patient, acts on her knowledge of the future, and gifts her pearls.

I've unfortunately been afflicted with both the ACOTAR brain rot, as well as the Outlander brain rot. This is what happens. We've heard often enough how Lucien and Jamie are parallels, but I was mindblown when I started looking for parallels between Elain and Claire!

Second moodboard for Elain’s different court fashions and this time it’s the Autumn Court. 🍎🍂🌹🔥🍁

I’ve always imagined Autumn Court fashion with strong TUDOR influences with rich fiery velvets, deep crimson shades, intricate floral embroidered corsets and bodices, insaneeee beadwork and touches of antique gold and pearls.

I also love the idea of how everything there feels hauntingly romantic in the saddest and most devastating court when it comes to romance. There’s something so poetic about all that warmth and regal softness existing in a place where love and lovers always seem doomed. ❤️‍🩹🕯️

This is the scene where Lucien volunteers to go find Vassa.

But this part always interested me, do you think Elain is having a vision? About Lucien maybe? Because she's watching him and keeps blinking... and feyre says "she revealed no hint of whatever she might be seeing/sensing" then she goes back to being calm.

What do you think she was seeing or sensing??

It annoys me so much that we never learn about these things 😭 I really hope we do in the next book

Through the years, SJM has made it known how much she loves Outlander and specifically Jamie.

For example in this interview, she discusses how:

- She has two “pocket” Jamies
- Sam Heughan is Jamie Fraser and is a flawless human being
- If she had to choose a favorite a book / character, who would she choose? She chose Claire specifically because of Jamie. Sorry to her husband!

She also mentions Sam Heughan in her ACOTAR Acknowledgments, so clearly she loves him and by extension the Outlander series.

So all that being said: it is established and makes sense that SJM would use a beloved series and its characters for inspiration within her own series. As other posters have discussed, Jamie/Lucien and Claire/Elain do have several parallels. I won’t get into that here, but I did want to point out a tidbit from the first Outlander book than feels extremely Elucien-coded to me. >!Jamie and Claire have just returned to Castle Leoch, and he presents to her a ring he bought within the hour of returning to Leoch:!<

>!“Will ye wear it, Claire?” His voice was gentle now, and his use of my name, mostly reserved for occasions of formality or tenderness, nearly made me break down again.!<

>!“You needna do so,” he said, looking at me seriously over his cupped palm. “The marriage contract between us is satisfied—it’s legal. You’re protected, safe from anything much save a warrant, and even from that, so long as you’re at Leoch. If ye wish, we may live apart—if that’s what ye were trying to say wi’ all yon rubbish about Laoghaire. You need have little more to do wi’ me, if that’s your honest choice.” He sat motionless, waiting, holding the tiny circlet near his heart.!<

Looking for book recommendations where the female lead slowly finds herself again during a healing phase.
Not necessarily romance-focused more about rebuilding confidence, reconnecting with herself, finding joy/spark/purpose again after burnout, heartbreak, postpartum, life changes, emotional numbness, etc.
I’d love something comforting, hopeful, emotionally honest, and deeply healing. Open to fiction or memoirs.

I saw this gorgeous Elucien fan art by @sad-scarred-sassy and fell in loveeeee!!! I couldn’t help adding some cheeky dialogue to it because it captures their energy so well. 🤭🔥

I think Elucien are going to have such a brat x brat tamer dynamic, with Elain being a brat with him and Lucien loving and enjoying every second of it. 😭❤️‍🔥🙌🌝
