I love canon receipts and drawing parallels!

I posted this on Tumblr and got an anon shortly after saying that it doesn't matter what Lucien is thinking or how he's feeling because Elain "doesn't want him around". I think of how being in Feyre's head was what allowed us to see that what she felt for Rhys starting in ACOMAF wasn't as simple as it may have looked from the outside. I can see the argument if you choose to take Elain's outward actions at face value, but it's pretty common for SJM to write chatacters that act one way, while feeling another. That's why, for me, I'd need to be let into her head and see how she truly feels before you could convince me of anything!

If Feyre can forgive Rhys after hating him and go on to love and accept him, I'm not sure why it's so baffling to think that Elain, who is currently uncomfortable around Lucien for whatever reasons we don't have without her POV, could come to love and accept Lucien.

Especially when many of SJM's couples start out with dislike or even outright hatred: Nessian, (TOG Spoilers) >!Rowaelin, Chaolrene!<, (CC Spoilers) >!Quinlar, and Ruhnlidia.!<

Also, please don't use the comments to debate the ships I used as comparisons, there's a whole sub for that 😅

I thought this was interesting to share as this merch appears to be made by Bloomsbury, so I wonder if other stores around the world will get it too!

The design is the same as the Valkyrie T-shirts that Bloomsbury made for influencers for that event they put on, and on the bottom of the bag it says “Bloomsbury”

I think that pink heart in SJMs post was for the Valkyries, because now we have 2 hot pink Valkyrie items, from the publisher (the t shirt and this wrist band) 🩷

SJM really gave us Elain surrounded by sealed blossoms and her mate whose symbolism is sunlight and day, and after Elain spent so long existing in this state of being shut away, numb and trapped in her own darkness, you’re telling me the man whose entire symbolism is LIGHT is just going to be irrelevant to that arc???

I’m sorry but I will be seated when the blossoms finally OPEN 🌸☀️ Elucien finally stepping into the daylight in 20 days. I’ve seen enough.
