We went car camping this weekend. So glad we brought a guard dog to watch over us! He took his job very seriously.

Ok, there is a Kipper the Dog episode. Nearish the end the friends are all walking away from the camera. Someone asks what their favorite part of the day is, or favorite fair ride (though it's not the episode "the fair") or favorite something idk...
Kipper says one thing is best. Someone else says something else is best. Kipper says, "oh yes that was best." Another firend says you can't have two bests and kipper says, "yes I can they were equal best."
I NEED to find the "equal best" episode! I'm pretty sure it's close-ish to the end of the episode but have skimmed the very last scene of each episode and didn't find it so I don't think it's the very last bit (though I could have missed it).
How worried should I be about raisins? We just got a 7 month old toy puppy and trail mix with raisins is a staple snack in our house. Google has me terrified that if he gets a single raisin he will go into acute kidney failure! With little kids there will probably be a trail mix spill or raisin dropped at some point. Do I need to ban raisins from our house?
I'm meeting a 7 month old toy poodle the breeder held back to show, but then he got too big. I suppose "big" is relative 😅 anyway, if it goes well I'll be adopting him!
I've been around dogs and poodles my whole life but suddenly I'm faced with owning my own for the first time - and a puppy - and I feel overwhelmed!
What supplies do I need right away? I know I'll need a crate, bed, collar/leash, food/water bowls, chew toys, brush of some kind, exercise pen for the yard.
Anything I'm not thinking of? Any advice for getting him settled successfully? My family had standards growing up, so a toy feels like a while different world of dog!
Update: got the message and pivoting hard - looking at a poodle instead 😅
We're going to visit a 3 month old Labrador retriever at a pet rescue, looking to adopt. My only concern is a question of shedding - I've only ever lived with poodles and a beagle. What level of "fur everywhere" can we expect? We're a family if six, with the four kiddos under 7, so the house is chaos as is. Is a lab shedding reasonable or will I be going mad with it?
I've miraculously gotten into the habit of waking up at 6am and heading to Panera for coffee 6 days a week. I get home by 8am when my husband starts work. I have four kids under 6 and stay home with them. The day in is pure chaos, but the mornings are mine.
I have managed to be consistent with getting out of the house every morning. But so far all I do with my time is drink coffee and scroll for 1.5hrs before heading back home. I feel like there's something better I could be doing with this time to set me up for a better day but can't seem to escape the scroll.
Any advice, ideas, thoughts?
