I see posts about cleaning brass, but how does one age it?

I know this is for instruments, but I have a brass bed frame I hate and want to age, but I figured it’s the same material, and you guys seem to restore brass well so I wanted to know if you guys have tips you usually AVOID to keep brass polished, so I can apply the opposite and get a nice aged brass color. I’m not a gold person but I absolutely love antique styles and my family went through the effort of importing this bed frame that I grew up with over seas so I can have it in my new home, but now that I’m an adult I figured it’s time I do something about the eyesore so I can appreciate it in my homes aesthetic and keep it.

Does anyone have experience with the unmarried partner family visa?

My (American/German citizen) and my man (American/ Uk citizen) are wanting to live in the UK together. We're both in our mid 20s. We have been together 2 years in July. We don't want to get married until l've moved further in my career and he's decided which career path he is settled on, since we’ll only marry once we want to make it romantic, but that will most likely take a while with schooling and everything. We want to stay in the UK because that's where he wants to go to school and to bond with his UK side of the family. We lived in America together for 6 months before we both moved to our separate countries in Europe, but it was with my parents so we don't have rental paperworks. The most evidence of him living with me in America is maybe some Amazon package receipts, and statements from my parents. But I know living together is no longer a requirement in the unmarried partner visa, but I'm sure it would help, but I don't know if that is enough. We share some finances like online subscriptions and paying for each other's food/bus tickets to help each other out, have a million visits, photos, chats, trips planned, friends who were there when we met and witnessed our relationship bloom etc. We miss living together so much, want nothing more than to be reunited again, and I want to be there to emotionally support him as he starts school. We would be first staying at his mom's place when I arrive, then finding an apartment together once I have a job. Another issue is, he makes around £400 a month too little for the financial requirements, but I work here in Germany as well. Some sources say you can apply with joint incomes and others say it's the sponsor only, and I'm confused. Is that only if I have a job that could be transferred to the uk or something? Anyone have experience with this visa, is it a gamble?

This is Hugo. He is still a baby so the only free roaming he does is couch time. I thought couch time would be a good double as bonding time, I sit and read with a blanket as rats crawl all over me and run at mock speeds back and forth on the couch. I don’t hang my legs off or else they’d crawl off them down onto the floor, so I curl up on the arm. But HUGO. No. He does not play with his brothers. He does not explore. He simply cuddled up under the blankets and finds my feet, no matter where I put them, no matter how hard I try to wrap them in blankets, no matter how thick my socks are, and BITES THEM. It’s not hard enough to hurt but it tickles and it’s dang annoying!! I pull them away and he just keeps going for them!!! Is there anything I can do to train him to stop?? It’s so weird because he doesn’t bite any other body part under similar fabrics, no legs or arms or anything. I worry if I try to “squeak” at him, HE won’t hear it since he is so far away and my other guys climbing on my shoulders will think I’m squeaking at them?

So I’ve bleached a ring around my head to a light shade to dye neon blue. It’s essentially like a thin strip going all the way around my head like a U shape near the crown but the very top around my middle part will still be black, so that the blue will be like highlights peeking through the black crown. Under the blue highlights the rest of my hair will also be black. I have a semi permanent blue dye and a black permanent dye. Has anyone had experience dying part permanent and part semi? Any suggestions on how to stop bleeding from the black to the blue? I think the blue is light enough that it won’t stain the black, but I’m worried about rinsing out the black and it staining my bleached parts. Would it be best to dye them in separate sessions, or can I dye both at the same time (timing it for proper development time on each color) and maybe just separate them with foil?

They’re my first rats, I’ve had mice before and never noticed this :( they did have blueberries as a snack yesterday, would that stain teeth this much?
