Yesterday we heard a store failed 😲

I've been at Wawa a year and a half.

Ows and off prem.

Last month I decided I wanted to stay, and I decided I wanted to cross train everywhere so I can be a TS.

My GM said I'd be great and said I had qualities he can't teach out of a managers book.

We finally found someone to take my ows position and I'm his proficiency buddy and after tomorrow he's on his own and I'm off for my deli week to start.

My question is besides me already being ows and off prem how long does it take to get aquatinted in each position, to be proficient enough.

My friend said about a month and then she started being really trained for a TS

Obviously not good like going to a real Mexican place. They are just awesome for their level.

I applied for a shift lead opening at a new location opening up soon.

I'm currently at a competitor. RF would be closer to home and from what I read more money.

I'm nervous because I don't have 100 percent open availability.

Half the week I can work whenever

The second half of the week I'd have to be first shift or 3rd shift because I have to take my husband to work.

I'm really nervous that's going to impact things because I really need this.

I can't get by on an associate wage from Wawa

I gave it a year and a half but I'm just drowning in bills so I really need a better position that pays more.

Some places are like ok we can work with that. Some places are like oh your not available 24/7 every day? NEXT !

What's it like for royal farms?

I have my interview coming up for a new store. I applied for team lead, shift lead, and associate.

I really hope I don't get associate. Doesn't make sense to go from one associate job to another.

The dress code seems a lot more strict then Wawa.

At Wawa you can wear any nonslip shoes, doesn't need to be black.

You can wear any branded Wawa shirts and hats

So if I get hired I can only wear black nonslip?

All mine are colored

I finally got to go to the bathroom and someone came into the small stall.

Firstly they scared me cause for some reason they pressed themselves against the wall and went over and I'm like ahh what's going on.

Then outta nowhere I just smelled the most horrific dump in my life, I hurry up to leave I started choking and gagging and I looked down at the floor and there's diarrhea everywhere on the floor and I left the bathroom dry heaving like I'm gonna puke...

Everyone is like wtf ?

Are you ok and I'm still gagging trying to talk in between gags and tears SHE SH**everywhere

It was horrible

I got an open mouthed back of throat taste of her crap

She wouldn't leave the bathroom so others had to suffer because facilities couldn't clean it with her in there

I just wanted to pee

I didn't want my life to change 😭

With all the crazy for Michael I'm hoping it brought back some new hype for this is it

I watched all the music part, I watched the documentary, I watched everything they had planned out for his wardrobe and the movies they were shooting for the songs were unbelievable

If he did pull off this is it and lived I honestly think it would have been one of the greatest performances of all time.

To be that early in and just see what it was amounting to.... Omg

It was definitely something special

It just felt like even for him it would have been unlike any other

Michael dying was horrible. I was 7 when I got into Michael Jackson. Probably 1992

Well being so young it's the first person in my none immediate family that I felt love for.

His death was really hard but since the movie it's like he's back alive again.

The music is everywhere and it's amazing.

I was going into Sheetz yesterday and a guy is chilln in the parking lot blasting they don't care about us on his motorcycle.

It really is like we went back in time to when he was here ❤️

Hoagiefest is coming up and I mentioned oh I wonder what the shirt looks like this year

Someone said my GM said his store hasn't gotten shirts in years?

Um I'd be p*ssed if I didn't get a hoagiefest shirt

You think he's full of it or are there stores that don't get any?

Some store GM's are more strict then others.

Just wondering. I think mind is pretty laid back in pretty much wearing anything as long as it's Wawa and not specific to a specific store/event.

A lot of the shirts on the actual Wawa site are awesome and I usually just end up wearing one of those.

I love the tropic blue shirt. I wear it on days I feel like I'm in a bright mood.

What's your go to shirt hat combo?

Am I the only one who feels incredibly enraged when I have to stop everything I'm doing to go out to curbside?

Maybe cause I absolutely hate people but I could be having the best day then I get my first curbside and it's over.

I can't say on here what I mutter in person but it makes me angry and yes I let it be known!

I'm not that nice to them thinking maybe if they don't wanna deal with me they'll come inside. Nope, same people all the time.

It's like they get off on my misery
