Found this pic from March 2018

Was digging through some old folders and stumbled across this gem. Just seeing this main menu screen brings back a massive wave of nostalgia from right around the 1.0 release era.

I can practically hear the menu music playing just by looking at this picture. It really takes me back to the days of diving in completely blind, having absolutely no idea what was waiting for me. Back at that time, my laptop crashed while playing Subnautica (it turned out that the factory HDD was defective), so I had to build a temporary PC with my old PC parts. Even with the bugs, it ran decently on GT730, and intel pentium CPU. Good old days.

Thought some of you veteran divers would appreciate a little throwback to simpler times. Who else remembers their very first playthrough around this time?

Cyclops flying

Something happened to my cyclops when I saved the game last time. Now it doesn't stop, it flies. The thing is I haven't disabled the alien shooting building, but somehow it doesn't destroy my cyclops. How can I save this cyclops? what are the suggestions? and no, there is no any floater on the cyclops, I looked around it several times.

Şəkildəki tendensiyanın qarşısını necə almaq olar?

"Əyriyə yer yoxdur düz aləmində, əyri də düz gedir öz aləmində"

Cəmiyyətində valideynlərin cəhaləti, tərbiyə vermək üçün bir çox halda özlərinin yetərli tərbiyələrinin olmaması, ictimai mədəniyyətdən insanların ümumiyyətlə anlayışının olmaması faktı aşağı keyfiyyətli ibtidai və orta təhsil ilə birləşəndə ortaya belə şey çıxır.

Where to stay just for a few hours

Hello there, I'm landing in Budapest at 7 am, and my bus isn't until 10 pm. I really need to catch some Z's after my long flight. Any recommendations for a good, affordable spot to crash for a few hours?

Found this map of balkanized America in-game. Considering the lore, which of these fractured territories would you actually want to live in?

I was looking at this map and realized how much environmental storytelling CDPR packed into it. It shows the balkanization of the old USA—with the Pacific Confederation up north, the Western States, an independent Night City, and the Republic of Texas highlighted in red.

A fun lore fact about this map is that it's basically NUSA propaganda meant to gloss over how fragmented the continent really is. For example, the Pacific Confederation is practically a corporate-owned nation that requires work visas to enter, while the Republic of Texas is completely autonomous and regularly fights off NUSA influence to stay independent.

It got me thinking: If you were forced to leave Night City, which of these other territories (NUSA, Republic of Texas, Pacific Confederation, or the Western States) would you take your chances in, and why? Do you think any of them offer a genuinely better life than NC?

When you upgrade the road to two lanes but forget to upgrade the security gate prop...

Spotted this masterpiece of urban planning in Baku today. The barrier prop size was way smaller than the road, but I had no other choice so I just plopped it down anyway. Knowing CS2, the cims are going to ignore the massive gap and clip right through the physical barrier anyway!
