What are our chances of getting a US tourist visa

Myself and the wife are planning to apply for a tourist visa. Both of us are working in well established global organizations with decent pay. My only cause of concern is that my wife went with her family to Iran when she was a kid around 25 years ago and I went to Syria when i was a kid around 30 years ago. I will no doubt mention that in the application but is there a possibility we get rejected due to this ?

To add, we both are passport holders of a relatively wealthy country with good relations with the US and tourist visas get issued pretty commonly to our fellow citizens.

Dordogne in December

Is the dordogne valley worth visiting in early december as my wife always loves a quiet lakehouse stay and we’ve never been to this region before. We dont mind the cold rainy weather i’m just worried that lots of the tourist establishments will be closed during this time period as we like to drive out to one of the towns (Sarlat for instance) for lunch and dinner.

New England Fall Roadtrip

I am planning a two week trip in october to mainly go a longtime dream of travelling to the us and doing a road trip in NE during autumn. We will be flying 17 hours to reach Boston and start from there. I would love if you guys can recommend me some places to stay (love a forest cabin), towns, restaurants (fine dining or otherwise) etc.
We are slow travellers so dont want to cram too many stops in this trip.

August itinerary feedback

Hello. Myself and the wife are taking a 12 day roadtrip across norway this august. We are slow travellers and just enjoy driving around nice nature. We come from the middle east so we’re easily impressed.

This is our itinerary. Any feedback and suggestions are welcome. Our itinerary is adjustable.

Day 1 - land in oslo at 10am. Check in our hotel and walk around. Nothing planned really.

Day 2-4 - Pick up our rental car and drive to our accomodation in Lom. Have planned some light hikes around this area.

Day 4-6 - Sunnfjord cabin. Sort of a retreat. Nothing planned beside staying in our cabin. Wanted to stay around loen/stryn but not many decent accomodations with reasonable prices.

Day 6-9 Drive to Bergen and stay there. Wife likes cities so thought of staying here a couple of days to see the place.

Day 9-11 Hamsedal cabin. I have booked a cabin here. I am a fan of forests and pine trees and this airbnb i found looked nice.

Day 11-12 drop car in oslo. I have a michelin reservation that night so no other plan beside that. Our flight is next day evening.
