In Khadda (Padrona)

Hey GKP redditors,

I’m from MP. Came to cousins’ home in Khadda in Kushinagar district (If anyone knows).

I have been working from home and it’s very boring here. Cousins got their businesses. They don’t get free till 6 PM.

What can I do to prevent myself from boredom?

Coming from India to Nepal in a few days.

I need suggestions for a town or city that has mix of nature and facilities like internet, decent restaurants, chill people, etc.

I am a PM with 5+ years of experience. Have worked on building and growing SaaS products over the years.

Looking to explore what people are building these days.

If you're building something and struggling with onboarding, activation, churn, or just want a fresh pair of eyes on your product, I'd like to test and share honest feedback.

DMs are welcome

Hey everyone,

I spent a few months in Sikkim and Assam last year and really liked the vibe. Now I’m planning a workation in Arunachal Pradesh.

Looking for:
- Peaceful towns/villages with good nature
- Places where remote work is practical (internet, stay, basics)
- Differences in vibe across locations

Also curious: How are outsiders, especially non–North Eastern Indians, generally perceived?

Not looking for tourist tips, just real experiences.

Who’s in for road trip from Bhopal to Maheshwar this Saturday?

It’s about 200 kms. It’s a beautiful place. I keep visiting there whenever I get a chance.

Me and my friends are planning for a trip this weekend.

Anyone interested can join.

We travel, eat good food, don’t judge or bother anyone, let people have their space and party sometimes.

I’ve done a fair bit of solo travel and always enjoyed it.

On one of my trips, I met someone who was a local from the state I was visiting. We ended up spending a few weeks together in a city. It wasn’t planned, but it changed how that place felt. Slow days, evening walks by the river, cafés, just sharing the experience.

Somewhere along the way, I got attached. I started to feel like she’d be around for a long time (Probably forever). This was very different.

That didn’t happen. We went our separate ways.

Since then, something’s changed. I still like traveling, but doing it alone now feels flat. It’s not the same as before.

I think I got used to experiencing a place with someone. Sharing small moments, having a rhythm, not being alone all the time. Now I can’t seem to switch back to enjoying solo travel the way I used to.
