Was lucky enough to get a lunch reservation for the Living Table at Disfrutar in Barcelona. It’s hard to describe. Truly a once in a lifetime experience for me. And the ending had us all quite emotional, which is embarrassing to say! I’m sure the wine encouraged some of the intense feelings.
Pictured is almost all of the courses over a near 5 hour period. Didn’t want to include the reveal of table because I went into it blind and it made it so much more special. Incredible food, incredible staff, and the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Came out to around $600 with the bottles of wine, which, coming from San Francisco, seems like an absolute bargain.
Hi! I’m staying in Solli Plass (right by Alex Sushi). I love coffee, love food, love fun day/night life, but also need to be mindful of $$ given I’ll be there for 8 days. I can probably swing a nice lunch or dinner 2-3 times during my stay, but what are some affordable options to do around the area? I don’t mind walking 40+ minutes anywhere.
Also any particular food I should have when visiting Norway?
