Is it better to keep it unevolved and give eviolite or evolve(presumably into Scizor)?

Also of I have, let's say, Drapion, would it make a good fusion with it?

I have Technician and Wing attack and its super good so far, even with boosting items and only Lonely. One shot machine.

My other team members are Calyrex-Shadow, Azumarill , Linoone and Yamper.

I am fairly certain I need to off this guy to progress.

But even if I didn't, I still wanna.

I don't know what spell he casts that makes him take no damage from my meelee. And Idk what spells can harm him without doing harm to.me.

Also Horrid Wilting...whats up with that?

Can I do it without cheesing? I just did that with the Other guy(you know who, don't wanna spoil), used summon wand to waste all his spells and then wailed on him.

But I would prefer another approach here. If possible.

I chose to get Dagger and Katana proficiency.

Daggers because I can throw them without being instantly blown up , up close.

And Katana because...idk

What are some good weapons I can get? In act 3 now, Beregost.

Is there a good use for the weapon? He seems kinda squishy to put in front, is the weapon a meme or what am I missing?

I really like this poetic tiefling, the design is very cool and I love his swords. His quest was very fun too.

But from.what I see , it is meant to be a front line.mage hybrid, yet his con is like 9?

50 hp at lvl 13, the lowest in my party lmao.

I know there is some con boosting item but I think its from the Watchless eye quest and I kinda wanna skip it.

Too long and I dread fighint beholders .

Can I buy some hp boosting potions? Or shoudl I have Anomen cast A bunch of Aid on him befor battles.

Im on Easy anyway but I think having 60-70hp is the bare minimimum for front line.

He has the Melody chain mail(very cool ) , Kundane offhand and the Long sword that drains hp in main.

I gave him longsword prof as the first lvl up, idk what is best for him.

I was also contemplating using Halbers because his Offensive spin gives an extra attack and that could be good? Or not?

I'm doing the Unar Hills quest and noticed those annoying shadows are kinda shreadiing my party to bits.

And I think it might be my gear?

I have frontline Minsc with Lilarcor, Anomen with FoA and his shield, Edwin with a sling, my main mage with + 2 staf and +2 sling/bullets, Jan with a random plus 1 Xbow and Nalia with Tuigan bow and a sword +3 from Maevar wuest.

My frontlines seem to eat a lot of damage and get stunned and my backline cant really do much because of friendly fire.

My main spells are M Missile, Shield, M.Image, Cloudkill, Meteors(on MC and Nalia) , Slow, Skull trap(also MC), Fireballs/Arrows on Eddie, Invis type stuff on Jan, Greater Malison and debuffs.

So far I ve been doing it 5 man only and was fine but as soon as I left the city everything seems to hit harder.

My strat was easy: draw aggro on Minsc and deal with the mages first , use arrows and slings.

Worked well but now everything seems to be way tanky and have bigger crowds, so.I took Anni hoping to compensate.

But he struggles too. And I have no.idea what good Cleric spells to gibe aside from Doom, Bless and Chant.

Even with Chant and Prot from evil the Shadows still hit pretty hard.

What am.I doing wrong? Diff is Easy btw.

I got stuck.in the vampire room, I'm being level drained and its annoying cause Im not running a cleric.

Can I run away and come back later? Will this break the quest?

I know theres items to beat them.but I ran in blind and didn't have them with me.

Or if theres a way to cheese this fight I would do it.

My party i Minsc, Nalia, Edwin, Jan, MC.

So I started my second playthrough(first was shaman but got bored of it as soon as I reached Friendly Inn) and I am trying to understand how to become stronger.

First of all doing stuff just with Imoem and my Dark Moon monk(I know Monk sucks but I am playing on easy)

For now, I wanna explore and see what companions I can get before I lock in a composition.

I gave her bow and him throwing daggers and we were able to get to Beregost without much trouble but now I wanna start doing quests and not sure what to.do.

Get Kagain and Jaheira and try to get more exp from sidequests? I really don't wanna go and farm the basilisks on my first play but I also don't like how squishy my character is.

I found a nice mace in the Wizard inn(I think) Will Kagain be a decent frontline with that? How do I get more gold, I jave about 700 now but I wanna buy more weapons...

Uhh idk what to do.

I already play Bg2 and I feel that was way more starightforward(even though >I still got a bit lost at first)

I don't wanna follow a guide but also don't wanna have to die every 2 minutes untill.I find some better items, by luck alone.

I was thinking of atarting a new character and make it Blackhuard, but his bonuses seem a bit hit or miss.

Also don't really understand what stats to priorities for it?

Does it need anything besides Str/Dex?
