Do you think the amount of grifting and misinformation content decreased?

One aspect about Nintendo grifting that really stood out to me last year, was the amount youtubers who NEVER covered Nintendo news, milking the shit out of videos with misinformation about Switch 2, pricing, GKC and Mario Kart World. Heck, even Philip DeFranco who mainly covers politics, had a section about the backlash.

But I feel since Pokopia, the negative view of the console started to shift and with everything that has been happening in the industry, any unfair negative content made about Switch 2 is met with pushback. I'm also seeing an increase on videos praising Switch 2 as the perfect console for adults with busy lives and a good solution to improve your mental health, which is kinda wild.

Of course we have our usual suspects doing the same old bullshit, but really stood out to me that youtubers that not long ago were claiming that Nintendo was destroying the industry with their $90 DK Bananza and all games coming on a empty cartridge claims, have completely ignored Nintendo for months now.

Oblivion Remastered | Switch 2 Docked & Handheld Gameplay

The image quality on this one looks way better from a previous video, but the stuttering still there, as expected.

User score is not a true indicator of quality... unless aligns with gaming journalists opinions.

Such unnecessary slander. Raiders having such high user score doesn't mean it's one of the best games of all time. It's simply because people are satisfied with the game, same goes for RE9.

But RE9 doesn't get the asshole comment, I wonder why...

PSA You can play Splatoon Raiders with strangers in public matches with the keyword fuction.

This was a featured introduced in Splatoon 3 and since Raiders doesn't have matchmaking, this is a good way to play with strangers if you want.

Bro must be seething.

I don't know what's the deal with this guy hatred towards Splatoon and hoping for the game to fail. But man, ain't that satisfying to see.

Monolith Soft assisted in development of Splatoon Raiders

For those who don't know, Monolith was also a support team for all three Splatoon games as well.

If you are playing Splatoon for the first time, please give gyro a proper go.

Since a lot of people will be trying Splatoon for the first with Raiders, some might be thrown off by the tutorial having gyro aiming. While you can turn off right after, gyro it's the proper way to play Splatoon because how fast-paced the gameplay is, while stick controls are really slow since it doesn't have aim assist.

One of the most common mistakes from people trying motion controls for the first time, it's making exaggerated movements with your arms but you just need to do small movements with your wrist. Sticks are for camera movement and gyro for aiming. Also, play around with motion sensitivity and see what works best for you.

Of course, you don't have to play if you don't want to but Raiders will be a very chaotic and can be very difficult, especially for newcomers. So try to give gyro a chance, it will help you in the long-run, since it's the most effective control scheme.

EDIT: Since some people don't seem to understand the point of this post, I'm not telling anyone to force themselves to play in a control scheme they don't enjoy. I'm simply stating that Splatoon gameplay was built around gyro aiming, it's not a gimmick like in Zelda. You don't like it? Cool, but if you have an open mind, give it a go because it will improve your playthrough.

Misinformation is my passion.

At this point, I'm sure that 99% of the people who hates GKC, doesn't even know how it works. They convinced themselves that every Switch 2 cartridge is empty and nothing will change that.

There's totally valid reasons to not wanna buy GKC, but at the very least... try to understand what you actually hating?
