got my wavy hair trimmed for side frame layers and not happy w results. advice? (not involving cutting more please. trying to grow it out. )

hey!! so i am growing my hair back to long after cutting it to bob length last year, its grown a ton so i asked for it to be evened out since ik i probably didn’t get it fully even, with some face framing and a light layers (not a lot and nothing choppy) so i can continue to grow my hair back to long. i feel like im so close to back to long but with my waves and the trim i feel like she cut WAY more on the sides of my face than i wanted, and it makes it all spring up way too high and clump together and look way shorter in general and it makes me feel like ive lost months of hair growth. jus got the cut almost three weeks ago, then dyed my hair so the last picture is my hair roots after almost 3 weeks. im wondering if my hair is growing at a good speed, and if i just wait it out a few months will the layers and side frame pieces get more and weight to then and look better and will my hair start to read as long again? (ik long is different for everyone, my hair dresser said my hair is already long but will feel more like it in maybe 5 months. i feel like it’s medium-long, but i want it to all look more natural with those layers and feel long and ive been bugging over this ever since the cut. ive just been wearing buns every single day and doing scalp messages and sleeping in bonnets, all the good healthy hair tips trynna focus on the outcome and future and be in the present. my hair effects my self esteem greatly, so i was wondering if anyone has any advice and if they think it’ll look more natural and blended as it grows out. thank you!
