I am so obsessed with Lorde's music its not even funny. I only started listenting to her this year. In March I picked up Melodrama because I heard amazing things about it. Before that some of my favorite artists were Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, and Gracie Abrams. I liked Melodram a lot but I never imagined just how deep in the rabbit hole I would get. Over the next couple months I listened to lorde more and more, listenting to the rest of hr albums aswell. Virgin is also a 10/10 album in my opinion. Her music got attached to some of the biggest accomplimsnets in my life as whenever I would make an instagram story I always threw her song on. In May of this year I got rejected by a girl I really liked. After that it exploded. Ive nonstop been listenting to Lorde this entire summer. Over 52000 minutes in the year so far, about 34k of which has came this summer a lot. I dont say that to brag or make myself look cool. Its just a testament to how much her music really means to me. I am a straight guy and ive never been in a serious relationship so logically melodrama should not even hit that hard for me. But as a young person it just does. Same with everything else she makes. Ive cried to three lorde songs, The Louvre, Ribs, and Supercut. The last 2 wasn't even cuz of anything going on in my life. I was just so mesmerized by the art. I am everytime I hear it. I wholeheardedly believ Melodrama is a perfect album. 1000/10. Nothing compares to it. And in just 5 short months Lorde went from nobody to me to easily my favorite artist ever. If Im happy, sad, angry, or just want to chill I will put on Lorde. I hope none of this comes off weird or parasocial. The truth is that her music is literally the only music I enjoy rn. And I LOVE MUSIC. I had over 150000 minutes last year, so yeah I listen to music a lot. 2:26 to 3:16 on Hard Feelings/Loveless (my favorite Lorde song) is genuine perfection. Like I dont believe its possible to make better art than that. That part and that song is where humanity peaked. Yeah Idk I just had to get my thoughts out somewhere. Really, although I can try, I can't put into words how much her music means to me and has done for me. I love it.

Whenever I listen to free now, particularly that bridge, my only thought is "how can anyone listen to this song and think Gracie isn't capable of making good music?" I genuinely think all these haters need to just listen once and they're life would be changed

There's a song on the track list called "Sober." Gracie has said she's going to collaborate with multiple friends. Friends as in plural. What's another famous sober? Sober by Lorde. Lorde feature 👀👀👀👀 (or I've lost it.)
