Tilemap Layers are just too powerful!

I’ve been working on 3 dimensional placement logic with 2d tilemap layers for a while now. Godots implementation is doing a lot of the lifting here. Though Visual clarity is still something I’m working on, separating and duplicating layers for specific fx and feedback feels like it’s working.

How do you solve issues like that in isometric perspectives?

Started developing a topdown shooter to learn Godot three months ago. Somehow i feel like i run into a brickwall as the game is kinda vertically complete but has a lot of loose ends. Everything lacks some features and polish to complete. Im not sure if its worth it? Im doing everything myself and am not looking for any profit. Anyways, would people like to play this, should i finish it or start something new?
