Laptops or Tablets or Paper?

Hi, do you recommend getting a laptop for school? Or do you mainly do your notes on paper or on an ipad.

I'm thinking of getting a laptop, but i'm super confused as to what to get bc my budget is pretty tight. I understand theres a lot of content and I'm really confused if I will need maybe paper to do notes on

What do you guys have?

Questions about living in Split as an international student.

hi guys, i made this same thread in another forum but i was kindly redirected here.

its likely im moving to split medical school for university and i just have a few questions about the country before i visit.

how is the international student community there? is it strong and are there groups i can join?

im aware of general expenses but are any sneaky things i should be aware of when finding accommodation and whatnot?

what are also some good apartment rental websites? i am currently looking on njuskalo but maybe there are more popular ones.

i am also a turk. i am visibly very brown with a very muslim name, will i receive discrimination and/or social exclusion from other croatian students? i am worried about this.

thanks
