I recently posted about my '65 F-85, and with driving it quite a bit this week doing 55mph to and from work. (Which i figured was perfect for this beauty). I felt like it had been sitting really high in the revs... So I did what my gut told me, and rigged a temp tach through some panal gapping between the hood and fender. Since doing that ive only really driven it once. But doing 45, it sits at about 3000rpm in second. First gear pulled up to around 55 at 6000ish rpm when I held it in Low. Is this normal? I know for a fact the rear gears never been changed.

Got bored and decided to see if my old zenith could pick up the signal from transmitter I use for my car. Obviously it did, and very well too. There were a few other channels it played on beside the 107.9 it runs for my car. But the thing that I find the most interesting. Channel 11 TV2 also plays it extremely well?

I think it says 1950 something on there, got this in a cigar box full of lighters for $3 at a yard sale last year. If it isnt obvious its a slim.
