I’ve spoken to Guidance and Uif and they both charge 25% down payment for invest investment properties. That’s quite a bit compared to regular lenders. Are there any other options within the US?
Nova is really filled with govt and gov con jobs and their salaries are so low. I interviewed for DCAA with 3 yoe and got 60k offered. You’d be living paycheck to paycheck with this offering. Most jobs description have a similar offerings
What i dont understand is if MOST of the people here are working gov jobs, how are people affording mortgage and rent here since most houses costs north of 650k?
What am I missing?
I have been reading a few threads on whether or not vending machines business is still profitable in 2026? Following were the main concerns:
- Good location
- Buying the machine at an affordable price
Everyone kept saying to find a good location but no one said what that good location is? Pharmacies? Laundromats? Restaurants? Property Management Office?
Secondly, there are tons of options for machines but what ones are good to start off with within 5k?
I hired a contractor in the Cleveland/Akron, OH area for a 9K rehab job. It was supposed to be a four week work and I paid 50% (4500) upfront.
For the first two weeks, he would send me pictures of updates, but I could easily tell that those were AI pictures. I started asking for videos and he would take days to send a video and once he did, it was super blurry (AI doctored video).
Halfway (2 weeks) through the job, I sent my property manager to take a look and it was not even a surprise to see that this house was in the SAME condition as it was before AND NOT A SINGLE WORK WAS DONE.
I confronted them and after a long back-and-forth, he said he would send me a refund. It’s been almost a week and now he is ghosting my messages.
I have his insurance information and I made a payment through credit card which I can charge back. But what other options you would take to get back to this guy because he has wasted three weeks?
On my work, I get to meet a lot of business owners. I’m fairly new in my work, but I see owners casually mentioning how they use their $200 family meals as a business expense and a trip to a theme park of $600 as a business expense.
That sounds like a not right thing to do. However, it seems like very common. I have seen people put thousands of dollars of sports tickets being included in business expense.

Whoever did not inform there is no paved road on many glacier, count your days. We couldnt do it because of a fear of flat tire with no signal
We just arrived today and found out that GTTSR is closed for the most part and many Glacier has gotten flooding and is also closed. These were the only reasons I came to the area.
I am leaving Thursday evening. Is there any chance that GTTSR will be fully opened either tomorrow or Wednesday? Has anyone spoken to Park Rangers and gotten any update regarding GTTSR and many glacier?

We are planning 2 days. 1st on the east side and 2nd day starting from west side and doing the full GTTSR. Wanted to ask specifically on the west side, other then entering at 7 am in the morning, if we enter after 2pm, would it start getting emptier?

Hey guys, we will be arriving in kalispell in early July for three days primarily to visit glacier national Park. I want to get some recommendations for itinerary.
I’m planning on doing first day on the west side and then the second day on the east side. Is that something that a lot of people do or is the whole park Doable in one day with GTSSR?
Except for hiking, what are some activities that we can do within the park/lake? I’ve seen a lot of pictures for kayaking and paddle boarding at Lake MacDonald, which seems super nice.
Can you guys also tell me what some of the best spots that no one should miss which is accessible without a big hike?
I want to spare one day for outside of the park like or other town. Do you guys have any recommend recommendations for any fun or scenic spot outside of glacier?
I just recently discovered GNP and it looks otherworldly. From what i have seen, lake avalanche seems the most beautiful. But i am not a hiker and I am scared about the Bears esp been hearing about recent attacks.
I am visiting there 1st july. I wanted to know if these bears are always a threat during the summer or it tones down? Are there enough people on that trail who I can ‘tag along’ with if im worried going alone?
Side note: please let me know your favorite lake or picture spot with less hiking from any parking lot than avalanche
