ode to my garden

one of, if not the, last arrangements I’m making from my garden here in Los Angeles before I make my move to Nashville for a couple of years

a little random but I just couldn’t not include everything I cut 🫶🏻

An ~attempt~ at making something structural for my sister’s birthday

I really struggle with making the more modern, structural arrangements I always end up doing something garden-y 😣 any tips?

How reliably can I grow roses in central Tennessee?

I’m moving from California to Clarksville Tennessee and I’m wondering if I could keep my roses outside or should I buy a greenhouse to keep them protected? I’m afraid of them getting RRD because I have a lot of international varieties from Japan and David Austin

Help/Advice on which way to go with decorating my new home?

My husband describes the house as a “ranch house” but I’m not really a fan of ranch related styles. I’m not super fond of the color palette the house has right now so I’m really debating on either bringing in color, or continuing with the muted, sandy colors it has going on right now. A few styles I’ve looked into that I’ve been drawn to for bringing in color have been mid century modern, neo deco, and biophilic. To kind of go with the more muted aspect it already has I was thinking of japandi, minimalist, and Mediterranean.

Any suggestions either color-palette wise or style wise I would really appreciate!

Happy Mother’s Day!

had fun making this out of leftover roses from bouquets I made for my mom and grandma 😊

I direct sowed Floret dahlia seedlings as well as a hybridizer’s mixes but I think I might have cooked them with some humidity domes and I don’t think they are going to sprout since almost a month has passed already :/

Does anyone have any seed packs to sell or where I might be able to buy some Anemone and Orchette type dahlia seeds? I was so excited to see have these in my landscaping

Thank you!

I know those wilted bougainvillea aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but I like the drama of how dainty it looks. The color palette is all over the place but you work with what you got 🤭
