First time I seen this, pretty cool!
The model has a prosthetic leg. I wonder if it's real and not AI. If it's real, it's pretty cool she got to model.

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with experimenting with birth control. Did any of you try to stop? And did it improve your fatigue?
I'm mid 30's and I went clean a few years back but didn't notice a difference then. Went back on and after 3 years I am worse again. I wonder if I should try stopping again, but I'm on an implant, so it's not something I can just do.
Wondering if any of you have experience in this field.
I'm going through a rough patch right now and am absolutely BORED out of my mind by this paralyzing streak I've been having for the past 7 weeks. I'm basically bed/couch ridden and can only do small things once every few days, then crash and repeat. So, I thought I'd share some of my relaxation methods and I'd also really like to know what you guys do when you are experiencing fatigue?
Here's some of my "favorites"
- Staring at the ceiling in a dark room whilst laying on my back, legs spread slightly, feet facing outwards and hands on my stomach. This way there is as little strain as possible on your limbs and you can relax better. Breathing exercise helps too.
- Staring at the garden (sky), doing the same thing ✨🌈
- Take a bath in my "isolation pod". A bath became essential for relaxation to me, so I found this foldable bath and have been using it regularly for more than 3 years now, it still has not broken down! It fits just about in my shower en I just about fit in it too 😅 sometimes I close the lids and throw a towel over the opening and pretend I'm a regenerating alien floating away. Idk, its soothing.
- Give myself a facial spa treatment (in the shower or bath). I specifically use these movements (at 3:38 / 6:58) and massage just below and on the hairline / sleep spots on the side of my head. If I have money and energy, I'll get a real facial treatment.
- Listen to an audio book (whilst reading it too, if I can).
- Making a coloring in a coloring book and listen to Lofi or relaxing music. I really like these two playlists lately; calming acoustic and lofi summer beats
I used to be able to do more stuff, like play a relaxing video game or watch some tv, but not lately...
Do you guys have any tips?
Beide zwembaden waren binnen no time lek!

Some history + when it was going well-ish
I've been diagnosed with ME//CFS about 5-6 years ago. Doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, I was exhausted and immobilized for about a year, experiencing PEM attacks on and off. They sent me to do Fysio and CBT and I finished all that over the next year. I did a reintegration track for work, switched my fulltime job to part time, doing something I love, partially from home. After two and a half years that job came to an end.

When things slowly started to get worse
I was forced to find a job in retail. I started working even less hours after PEM struck me too many times and my immune system went that low, I got herpes zester. After I recovered from my blisters and nerve pain I managed to make it work with those lessened hours with lots of pacing. I did experience PEM attacks after big events or if I had to work two days back to back or longer days, but the next day it would usually be over. Multiple big events back to back I always avoided. I always schedule days around my "special" days or "obligatory" days as much as possible. I did fine for about 6 months.

When I think it went wrong
I went on holiday and spent almost a week with a very dear but very chatty friend of mine, I went straight through all my red lights, almost had no recovery time from socializing and the following week went on a car trip to multiple cities with my SO. Socializing with my SO is far less of a strain, so I felt relieved that way, but we walked ALOT! and I actually felt quite energetic, I did experience some minor PEM but it felt like it was going away (or maybe I was just ignoring it). When we got back home, I took three full days of rest, thinking that would be enough. I managed to move forward for 1 and a half week, with extra work and a big event that eventually crippled me.

The situation now
Now I've been completely floored for over two weeks, I was extremely dizzy and nauseated most of the time, something that's new for me. Also I have swollen lymphs, but the doc checked it all and "it's nothing". Dizziness is something I experienced before, but not to this extent or frequency. The swollen lymph are new to me too. I've had severe PEM attacks every night where I get so sick and dizzy, everything starts spinning and I need to get out of bed. Sleepless nights, obviously. I'm exhausted, but I am not that tired or sleepy to actually go to bed or sleep. Last couple days the nightly PEM attacks have gone away and I feel better during the day, but as soon I try to do anything for more than 30 min too often, I crash. Going outside is the worst, I can't go to the grocery store or any store without experiencing irritation, overstimulation, nausea, brain fog and dizziness. Afterwards I crash.

I'm at a loss... I never sunken this deep before...
