Pretty open ended. Budget would be under 2.5 million and working remotely

As far south as mission viejo
Which do you recommend and why?
Went to visit it during the day time. Didn’t look that bad. Went again at 9:15 pm still was fine
There are only 3 things i see here: empty lots, run down homes or brand new construction
Are the people there getting pushed out? Can anyone predict what they think will happen in 3 years from now? I understand the wind is crazier than the crime
I'm looking on Airbnb but I don't see any specific line item for cleaning or the 3% fee. So if a place is rented for 4 days at $2,000 and then it shows the daily fee is $500 but they don't tell you how much is for the Airbnb 3%, taxes and the cleaning fee. Is this all just included in the $500 and the host doesn't itemize for the guests?
I'm looking at these properties in Palm springs and I'm like how are these people even making any money at all?
I forget what are some nostalgic areas to visit.. Columbia Mall, my old house, lake elkhorn, kittimiqundi. Anything else i might be missing. Going to some totlots for sure but wondering if there is anything else I'm missing.

I'm remote and available, responsive and doing work not stressing at all. I'm thinking my boss just has really low expectations. Im at a medium start up and coming from really large companies.
