The Few/Real McCoys New Zealand M422A “Fried Ostermann”

Just got this secondhand M422A repro of a WW2 Fried Ostermann Company jacket in a beautiful russet brown goatskin. Jacket was made by the now defunct Real McCoys New Zealand.

Finally got all of my favorite American flight jacket patterns from WW2 as I also have two A2s from Buzz Rickson and Rainbow Country.

New to me:

-Buzz Rickson

-M1943 cut.

-13.60oz.

Just got these new denim M1943 trousers. I also have the William Gibson black reverse sateen version and found out that they also made them in denim. High rise, with a wide leg silhouette as they used a pattern of U.S. Army field pants during WW2. Very fun pair so far with small details like waist adjuster buttons, HBT lined waist, and a button snap that you can use to close the cuff at the bottom. This pair does not have a Selvedge ID but I believe they use the same denim that they use for their 1940s waist overalls. Last photo is me pairing it with my Rainbow Country 1930s sports jacket and a pair of Iron Boots for a 30s-40s inspired fit.
